Studio Art---Final Exam Drawing
Due: Thursday, June 2nd [hand in before taking exam]
-Late work will not be accepted!
This finished artwork is part of your final exam grade. It must be handed in
during or before the exam.
Criteria:
-surface or paper for work will be at least 9 x 12 inches or larger if 2 -D
-the artwork must show value/shading, background, depth in some manner
-material and media are your choice, you may combine media as well
-time spent should reflect at least 5 hours of effort
-work must be original, you may not use other’s images
-Please hand in all prep work, thumbnails, alterations….you receive credit for these
-You may include explanations or stories that coincide with project
Grading will be based on effort, following directions, technical use of materials, creative
idea and risk taking. You should turn in all preliminary sketches/ideas and other
relevant work that was part of your process.
