Resolution Book No. 37, which is entitled: "RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL
COUNTY REAL PROPERTY."

Approve request from Sierra Nevada Earthscope Project to deploy a seismometer on County owned land.

3.
Approve amendment to agreement with Greg Royat for consultant services for Pre-Disaster Multi-Hazard
Mitigation Plan and authorize Chairman to execute same. (06-231) Approved.
B. Health and Human Services
1.
Adopt resolution authorizing Director of Health and Human Services or his/her designee to execute CalWORKs
Non-Paid Work experience Work Site Agreements. (Human Services Committee Recommends Approval) (06232) Adopted Resolution No. 2006-49, which is on file in Yuba County Resolution Book No. 37, which is
entitled: "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OR HIS/HER DESIGNEE OF THE
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO EXECUTE CALWORKS PROGRAM
WORK EXPERIENCE AGREEMENTS WITH WORK SITE CONTRACTORS."

Approve Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act of 2000 County Plan for Fiscal Year 2006/2007. (Human
Services Committee Recommends Approval) (06-233) Approved.
C. Public Works
1.
Adopt resolution requiring Engineer's Report for Gledhill Landscaping and Lighting District. (06-234) Adopted
Resolution No. 2006-50, which is on file in Yuba County Resolution Book No. 37, which is entitled:
"RESOLUTION REQUIRING ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR GLEDHILL LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING DISTRICT."

Approve Park Development Agreement with Sierra Vista Subdivision (Mercy Properties California TSTM
2002-0599) and authorize Chairman to execute same. (Land Use and Public Works Committee Recommends
Approval) (06-235) Approved.
3.
Accept gift offered by Western Aggregates, Inc. of two radar trailers with serial numbers of
1M9US11116D597004 and 1M9US11116D597005 valued at $8,875 each. (06-236) Approved.
4.
Adopt resolution approving Final Map for Tract No. 2003-13 (Oak Grove Estates) and authorize Chairman to
execute subdivision Map Improvement Agreement (06-237) Adopted Resolution No. 2006-51, which is on
file in Yuba County Resolution Book No. 37, which is entitled: "RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL
MAP OF TRACT MAP NO. 2003-13 (OAK GROVE ESTATES)."
D. Risk Management/Personnel

Approve contract between Sutter North Medical Foundation and County of Yuba for pre-employment physical
examinations and authorize Chairman to execute same. (06-238) Approved.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS:
County Clerk/Elections Official Terry Hansen advised an open house would be held on Saturday April 29, 2006 in
the Board Chambers to demonstrate new touch screen voting equipment.
Ms. Gloria Figuhi, Marysville, and Ms. Ariana Medina, expressed safety concern for children at local parks and
lack of activities for teenagers.
Mr. Lothar Klug, Loma Rica, expressed concern regarding potholes in Loma Rica and the need for clean up on
Hammonton Smartsville Road and North Beale Road.

A. Probation
1.
Adopt resolution proclaiming April 23-29, 2006 National Crime Victims' Rights Week. (06-239) Adopted
Resolution No. 2006-52, which is on file in Yuba County Resolution Book No. 37, which is entitled:
"RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING APRIL 23-29, 2006, NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS
WEEK IN CELEBRATION OF SERVICE TO VICTIMS OF CRIME AND COMMENDING YUBA
COUNTY PROBATION PROGRAM AND VICTIM SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR PROVIDING
EXEMPLARY SERVICE VICTIMS OF CRIME."

Supervisor Logue: Suggested legislation to remove the liability away from the County regarding levee projects;
Suggested membership to Butte County Area of Governments rather than Sacramento Area County of

Agricultural Commissioner Dennis Pooler: Letter to Governor's Office of Emergency Services requesting
