SENIORS: For those of you applying to college, at this point you should have completed the following: Please be sure to complete and return the Senior Questionnaire (goldenrod colored form). This form is very important for future college advisement and lets us know where to send your final transcript!! GOOD LUCK with your future endeavors! Selective Service: U.S. law requires that all qualified males, 18 years or older, must be registered for selective service. Men who register with Selective Service remain eligible for important programs and benefits linked to registration, including student loans and grants for college, employment by the federal government and many state programs, vocational job training, and U.S. citizenship. Forms may be obtained in the Attendance Office. JUNIORS: The Guidance Department has begun individual post high school planning and college advisement sessions. If you have not already done so, make an appointment with your School Counselor. SATs and ACTs: This is the time of year to begin considering taking the SATs and/or ACTS. When planning a college visit, be sure to call ahead for tour times, registration, and other information. To attend information sessions, sign up in the School Counseling office. Naviance: Please see your School Counselor for Naviance Login information and start your college search, resume’, and post high-school planning. Request 2 teachers to write letters of recommendation on your behalf. Keep in mind that these letters are provided by the teacher as a courtesy. To you’re your teachers to write the most effective recommendation, complete your Brag Sheet, Parent Brag sheet, & resume via Naviance.
