is anorexia.

from eating.

food in their body system the dangerous way without aware that they are putting their
bodies to risk.
V. Counterargument: (to anticipate your reader’s objections; make yourself sound more objective
and reasonable)
a. Topic Sentence: Models think that by not eating the right portion meal daily or eating a
certain amount of food and just throwing it all up, they think that they are healthy and
pretty for the runway without noticing that they are risking their health and bodies.
b. Counterargument Evidence: Re-write again the total number of models that are
anorexic or bulimic.
c. Refute Evidence: Explain how some fashion industries from other countries have began
to make laws that have started to ban really thin models from walking in the catwalk.
d. Concluding Sentence: The eating disorders anorexia and bulimia are not a healthy way
to keep your body in “shape” there are many other healthier ways to keep yourself
healthy
VI. Conclusion Part 1 (remind readers about your argument and supporting evidence)
a. Topic Sentence: Re-explain the danger that most models go through, through their
modeling career.
b. Review of evidence/claim: Re-explain the consequences of anorexia and bulimia.
c. Concluding Sentence: Models shouldn’t put their health and body to risk just for
modeling, and the fashion industry should reconsider the requirements for women to
be a model.
VII. Conclusion Part 2 (“so what”; why should the reader care about your subject)
a. Models should set a better image for younger girls that really look up to models and
their “perfect” bodies.
b. No model should put their health and body to risk just because they want to fulfill their
dreams of being a model.
c. It is important for all of us to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep our bodies just in
shape with the right foods and appropriate amount of exercise.
d. The fashion industry should make new requirements that shouldn’t want women try to
put them to go on strict diets or shouldn’t eat all just to have a right model body, or
offer healthier options for models so they won’t risk their health.
