There are many movies about teenage pregnancy which is suitable for teenager to watch because by these movies they can learn more about teenage pregnancy and they can know how to be secure from being teenage pregnant. Background Teenage pregnancy is formally defined as a pregnancy in a young woman who has not reached her 20th birthday. Adolescents were more likely than adults to have positive results of sexually transmitted infection testing at baseline and at 30 days. There were no significant group differences in chronic abdominal pain, infertility, and recurrent PID at 35 or 84 months, but adolescents were more likely to have a pregnancy at both time points. Adjusted hazard ratios (95% confidence intervals) also demonstrated that adolescents had shorter times to pregnancy and recurrent pelvic inflammation. In 1978, 5% of all infants in Hong Kong were born to teenage mothers. The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong set up a Youth Advisory Service in 1977 to twofer counseling and medical help to young people under 25 on questions of sexuality. Between August 1977 and June 1980, 835 teenagers, 98% of them female, approached the service for help. The youngest client was 13 but most was 17-19 years old. 7% had finished primary school while the remainder had some secondary education. Most were from lower to lower-middle socioeconomic backgrounds. Few clients who became pregnant agreed to future use of birth control. Reluctance of teenage girls and their parents to accept responsibility for the girls' sexual relationships, peer pressure, and irregular sexual activities were found to be factors in their failure to use contraception. 257 pregnant clients chose to terminate their pregnancies and obtained the required parental consent. Most clients chose to have their infants out of wedlock, and only 2-3% married. The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong has been a pioneer in family life education to help teenagers understand themselves and their sexuality, and to avoid the problems of teenage pregnancy. Many health educators have argued that comprehensive sex education would effectively reduce the number of teenage pregnancies, although opponents argue that such education encourages more and earlier sexual activity. If teenagers can get good education about sex then in future, there may be a decrease in the number of the teenage pregnancy in the future. In research I found most of teenagers abort babies when they found to be pregnant. But some of them even suicide because their boyfriend doesn’t accept them for this situation. I feel very bad know this situation. As many couple has sex and when they found of becoming parents then they just abort or kill it. So teenager should be more careful before having sex. It is very necessary to think about their future before having sex.
