Krone's Cool Liner Duoplex Steel
Werlte, September 2012 – Due to its versatility and numerous features, the Cool Liner Duoplex Steel is widely accepted. For example, it is possible to lash the load in a safe manner, even with doubledeck loading. This is made possible by the use of continuous
strapping rails in the lower part of the vehicle and divided strapping
rails between the doubledeck guide rails. The doubledeck guide
rails are available in two different lengths: 1,600 mm and 1,900
mm.
Krone recommends the practical Vario-Lock equipment for transporting flowers. In doing so, four aluminium perforated rods are
mounted inside the roof panel above the corresponding holes in
the floor panel into which vertical locking rods can be fixed. This
ensures that flower cages can be transported securely and safely.
The Cool Liner Duoplex Steel is also suitable for transporting hanging meat; Krone offers the MeatHang version.
In addition to its practical features, the Cool Liner Duoplex Steel is
robust, owing not least to its continuous chassis. Also, the 50 mm
front wall is protected by a robust aluminium evaporator guard.
Optimal cooling air flow and distribution is achieved in the superstructure thanks to a combination of the evaporation protection and
the flexible air duct under the roof.
The Duoplex Steel panels are HACCP certified, easy to clean and
repair, while the kick strips are continuously welded to the 125m
floor to form a water-tight pan. Additional reinforcement in the rear
section of the floor allows high forklift loads, as confirmed by tests
in accordance with CSC/EN 283.
The stainless steel rear frame is suitable for both docks and
ramps. Standard features on the doors include 4 lightweight alloy
hinges as well as an external stainless steel door lock per door
wing. As an option, a double turn rod lock is also available.
The Cool Liner Duoplex Steel is equipped with a door contact
switch as standard; this means the inside of the vehicle is automatically lit by LEDs when the door is opened.
For improved aerodynamics, there is an optional side panel for the
Cool Liner; this is a multi-functional component which can store 36
Euro pallets in its pallet box.
