below are the general principles followed by examples.

 (1) original publishing information + (2) database information (=) correct
the .com

 These citations are “mostly” correct: You cannot merely cut & paste.
o match the font style & size to the rest of your essay
o maintain reverse indentation
o truncate the URL (stop after the .com)
o drop the “press” from Greenhaven
o underline (instead of italicize) the database
o add the place & location

o underline instead of italicizing

Publisher:
o truncate the publisher’s name
o (just Greenhaven)

Library:

o add city & state

URL:
o truncate the URL
o stop after the .com or .edu

Original Publishing Information:
o Look at the top of the article,
o where it discusses who the author is and when/where the piece was originally published.
o In this example, only the source was given, but no dates.
o So I used “n.d.” for no dates.
