Go to the New York Times. There are five tabs at the top left. Choose “Topics.” (or type
this into your address bar:
http://topics.nytimes.com/topics/reference/timestopics
As per the Times, “each topic page collects all the news, reference and archival
information, photos, graphics, audio and video files published on topics ranging from
Madonna to Myanmar. This treasure trove is available without charge on articles going
back to 1981.
Browse for or enter your topic.
Opposing Viewpoints is extremely useful.
To get there, go to library.pps.k12.or.us.
On the right, choose “Research databases via Oslis.”
Click on “Secondary Student.”
Click on “Find Information”
