 No children must be left at SBSC Cadet week without an adult being present and responsible for them at all times,
sailing can be a dangerous sport, children can get cold/upset/hurt and need an adult to help them.
 By signing this, you consent to your child(ren) been photographed and the images may be used in publicity
materials for SBSC
 We are very grateful indeed for the all volunteer helpers and leaders who contribute their time free of charge, we
ask that all children respect them and follow their instructions.
 By signing this application form you agree that your child(ren) is water confident and physically fit enough to take
part and is willing to comply with all safety instructions.
 Sailing is subject to weather/ safe conditions, some days may be shore side activities due to weather conditions.
 No refunds are offered for days not attended or not sailed due to weather conditions

The signing of this form indicates that all the above participants are:
 Members of Snettisham Beach Sailing Club
 Water confident
 Physically fit to take part in the activity
 Willing to comply with all safety regulations
 SBSC shall from time to time take photographs to be used in the promotion of the club and which may appear in the
local press
 All children attending cadet week will have an adult on site with full responsibility for them.
Cancellations




All cancellations must be made in writing, preferably via e-mail.
£10 admin fee if you cancel more than 7 days before commencement of course.
Total course fee is forfeit if less than 7 days notice is given.
No refunds for days not attended or not sailed due to adverse weather conditions
Physical Fitness:
The participants should be confident in water. We do not expect Olympic swimmers but you will get more out of the course
with a reasonable level of fitness. You MUST advise on booking form any illness or medical needs or disabilities. If you suffer
from any condition it is recommended that you check with your doctor before making a booking.
Equipment:




A boat is needed for each child in all groups apart Novice Groups
You must provide appropriate buoyancy aid and all clothing for sailing including footwear.
Please note SBSC cannot accept any responsibility for damage or loss to your equipment or boat howsoever caused.
If sailing own boat you must be covered by third party liability insurance with minimum cover of £2,000,000.
