I hereby apply for Temporary Day Membership of Queen Mary Sailing Club and agree to
abide by all bye-laws of the club.
I declare that:
1. My boat/board is covered for the period of membership by insurance against third
party risks with a minimum cover of £2 million.
2. My boat/board, if holed or capsized, is equipped with sufficient buoyancy to enable
it to float and support its crew.
3. I will wear a buoyancy aid, lifejacket or harness (for windsurfing) whilst afloat.
4. I understand that I must wear a wetsuit, if windsurfing, covering the trunk of the
body
5. I understand that wetsuits or drysuits must be worn at all times when afloat between
1st November and 31 st March.
6. I understand that I may not sail in the buoyed area surrounding the dredgers and that
barges have right of way at all times and must be given adequate room. I understand
that I will be removed from the water if I am in breach of this bye -law.
7. I have been given a copy of the club bye-laws.
