speaker and audio systems to make listening to your music, easier and more pleasurable
wherever you are. Boasting a wealth of wireless connectivity options, you can access your
music simply wherever it is stored and then enjoy the beautiful acoustics from the new
models, all packaged in the new stunning “Definitive Outline” design concept.
The new wireless speaker and audio systems deliver powerful sound, making them the focal
point of any living space. Developed in collaboration with Sony Music, the new wireless
systems are explicitly tuned for balanced equalisation and richness of sound, reflecting
today’s music trends. Bass-rich thumping tunes are brought to life via the sub-woofer in the
premium 2.1ch speaker system1, which is achieved while maintaining the tone balance for a
truly accurate, high-quality audio experience. Exceptional wireless listening is supported by
aptX – specifically for Bluetooth® audio, a technology that matches the audio performance
of CD players and wired speakers.

Designed for today’s digital lifestyles, the new systems let you enjoy music with a multitude
of connectivity and streaming options. If you’ve got an NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet,
simply touch the top of the main unit for one-touch listening of your songs. A Bluetooth®
connection is made automatically and the music on your smartphone or tablet will boom out
straightaway into your living room for everyone to hear. In selected models, simple wireless
music streaming is supported through on-board Wi-Fi2 and Bluetooth®. It is easy to access
and use online music and internet radio services like Music Unlimited, Spotify®, and TuneIn
Radio directly with no PC required. The SongPal™ app functionality allows easy and intuitive
control of your compatible Sony audio devices while Apple AirPlay® lets you easily enjoy
music stored on your iPad or iPhone. For added convenience, all speakers offer a built-in
USB charging port as well as an auxiliary input to play music directly from nearly any device
with an audio output.
SRS-X9 Wireless Speaker System
The new wireless speaker and audio systems is headed by the premium sound SRS-X9 WiFi model, which is the first wireless speaker in the industry that supports High-Resolution
Audio playback capability. Sony’s advanced Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE
HX™)3 refines and restores the audio signal, re-creating subtle high-frequency harmonics
that are typically lost in heavily compressed MP3 and AAC files. With DSEE HX™, you’ll
enjoy High-Resolution Audio that delivers the detailed sound quality as the artist intended.
From the bi-amped subwoofer and dual passive radiators, the premium 2.1 channel system
delivers powerful, full-range audio with a good tone balance and a rich, precise bass. The
eight-channel S-Master HX™ Audio Amplifier4 deliver an impressive 154W of music output
power, and by combining with ClearAudio+™5, Sony’s unique technology for enhancing
bass, it delivers a rich, high-quality listening experience.
SRS-X7 Wireless Speaker System
Equally attractive in its modern design but more compact than the SRS-X9, the SRS-X7
delivers a room-filling 32W total output power. It is a high-quality wireless speaker with Wi-Fi

The DSEE HX TM up-scales existing sound source to near hi-resolution sound quality, and makes you feel as if
you are really there at the recording studio or concert.

SRS-X5 Wireless Speaker System
Ideal for indoor as well as outdoor use, the SRS-X5 is a high-quality Bluetooth® portable
speaker that features a built-in rechargeable battery packed with up to eight hours play time,
perfect for taking it out and about or for holidays. The SRS-X5 offers 20W of powerful audio
with a good tone balance and a strong bass. As with the complete new wireless speaker and
audio systems line-up, this high audio quality for wireless audio streaming is assured by
different technologies including aptX codec, ClearAudio+™ and S-Master Digital technology
that deliver beautiful refined sounds. Additionally, the SRS-X5 features a built-in hands-free
speaker-phone so you can have a hands-free conversation without losing your place on your
playlist.
The new specially designed case for the wireless speaker makes carrying it from place to
place easier than ever. The hard case for the SRS-X5 (also available for the SRS-X7) has a
foldable design which matches stunning design of the speakers and shields them from
knocks and scuffs.
CMT-X5CD Wireless All-in-One Audio System: with integrated CD player and radio
The ultra-compact all-in-one wireless audio system is a component stereo that is a happy
marriage of wireless audio streaming and traditional high-quality audio. The CMT-X5CD
boasts the stylish design that is the hallmark of the new wireless speakers and audio
systems line-up: a premium and comprehensive look with a sleek finish that adds extra style
and panache to the modern living room.
A treat for both the eyes and the ears, the CMT-X5CD provides a high-quality audio output
power of 40W. Sharing many of the audio features of the new wireless speakers, the audio
system includes aptX coding technology, DSEE, ClearAudio+™ and S-Master Digital
Amplifier. With full-range speakers and a passive radiator, the audio system provides a rich
deep bass combined with a refined listening experience.
