As a leader in the Annuity business, AXA continuously develops and releases new Annuity products to
remain a competitive player in the industry and to gain more market share. As a part of this, Retirement
Cornerstone was launched in 2010 and subsequently RC15 was introduced in February 2015. Cognizant
prepared a High Level Test Scenario document (shared with AXA) identifying the requirements/scenarios
that were in scope of RC15 for nbA, wmA, csA, Statements (Annual / Quarterly), Confirms,Forms, and
Regression (for both pre-RC 15 (RC13, RC12) as well as other products (SCS and Accum).Cognizant QA
also provided multiple inputs for the MTP prepared by AXA. Testing scope of nbA, wmA, csA,
Statements, Confirms,Forms, Regression and Data Mining Exception Report validations were prepared
and walked through by Cognizant. Overall Cognizant took complete testing ownership of RC15 in nbA,
wmA, csA, Statements, Confirms & SAR, Forms, Regression and was also responsible for end-to-end
testing activities like Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Design, Test Development, Data

This is an application development project for helping the business users renew the membership
subscription of SG (Small Groups). The application involves integration with BCBS-MN source systems for
retrieving data using IBR (Inbound Renewal File) file and modifying and posting data using OBR
(Outbound Renewal File). IBR and OBR are XML files that aid data exchange between source systems and
the proposed Pega based application to be developed. Once the data is retrieved, the users will use the
new application to track the Small Groups whose memberships are about to expire and make the
necessary steps to renew memberships.
The system was built using a business process management tool (BPM) from PegaSystems called Pega
Rules Process Commander, PRPC.
