Associates of Science Concurrent Cohort Interdisciplinary Studies Degree
MHS Students will have the opportunity to work toward an Associates of Science
Degree to be completed before graduation from MHS. Parents of students
interested must meet with an EWC advisor before beginning the program in their
sophomore year. This opportunity isn’t for every student but is of special interest to
student who plan to attend the University of Wyoming after graduating from high
school. The changes in the Universal Studies Program at UW allows students with
an Associates degree to start as juniors.

Expectations
Concurrent enrollment classes are truly college classes! Students will be expected to
take responsibility for registering for the classes they want as well as dropping (within
14 days of registering) or withdrawing from classes they want out of prior to the end of
the semester. Students have to pay attention to deadlines any that are missed will not
be extended. Students are expected to come to classes on time and fully prepared.
Responsibilities in the college classes may be different than those for the high school
course. Students are expected to read the syllabus for details.
Concurrent enrollment classes are a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge
themselves and to take college classes in a supportive atmosphere, but they’re not for
everybody. They require good study skills, determination, motivation, and exceptional
maturity. If that describes you, then WELCOME TO COLLEGE ENROLLMENT
AT MOORCROFT HIGH SCHOOL!
