The next perfect number is 496, the previous being 6.

EXTRATERRESTRIAL ELEMENT that science believe is the ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE.
The metal nickel is corrosion-resistant, finding many uses in alloys, as a plating, in the manufacture of coins,
magnets and common household utensils, as a catalyst for hydrogenation, and in a variety of other applications.
Enzymes of certain life-forms contain nickel as an active center making the metal essential for them.
8Ni being the most abundant (68.077% natural abundance). 62Ni is the most stable known nuclide of all the
existing elements, even exceeding the stability of 56Fe. 18 radioisotopes have been characterised with the most
stable being 59Ni with a half-life of 76,000 years, 63Ni with a half-life of 100.1 years, and 56Ni with a half-life of
6.077 days. All of the remaining radioactiveisotopes have half-lives that are less than 60 hours and the majority of
these have half-lives that are less than 30 seconds. This element also has 1 meta state.
Nickel-56 is produced in large quantities in type Ia supernovae and the shape of the light curve of these
supernovae corresponds to the decay via beta radiation of nickel-56 to cobalt-56 and then to iron-56. Nickel-59 is
a long-lived cosmogenic radionuclide with a half-life of 76,000 years. 59Ni has found many applications in isotope
geology. 59Ni has been used to date the terrestrial age ofmeteorites and to determine abundances of
extraterrestrial dust in ice and sediment. Nickel-60 is the daughter product of the extinct radionuclide 60Fe, which
decays with a half-life of 2.6 million years. Because 60Fe has such a long half-life, its persistence in materials in
the solar system at high enough concentrations may have generated observable variations in the isotopic
composition of 60Ni. Therefore, the abundance of 60Ni present in extraterrestrial material may provide insight

The Tetragrammaton YHWH occurs 6,828 times in the Hebrew text of both
the Biblia Hebraica and Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia
Exod. 3:15 is used to support the use of the Name YHWH: “This is my Name forever, and this is my memorial to
all generations.” The word “forever” is “olahm” which means “time out of mind, to eternity.”
The Hebrew word ‘olahm’, translated ‘forever’ clearly doesn’t always mean literal future infinity—although in
some places it can have that sense. It is used in places to describe the past; events of a long time ago, but not
events that happened an ‘infinitely long time’ ago. It describes the time of a previous
generation;[Deut. 32:7] [Job 22:15] to the time just before the exile of
Judah;[Is. 58:12] [61:4] [Mic. 7:14] [Mal. 3:4] to the time of the Exodus[1 Sam. 27:8] [Is. 51:9] [63:9] to the time
just before the flood.[Gen. 6:4] [5]
Many Scriptures do favour the use of the Name. The biblical law does not prohibit the use of the Name, but it
warns against “misuse”, “blaspheming” or in ordinary terms, “taking lightly” the Name of YHWH. The Biblical
texts suggest the people of the Bible—including the patriarchs—used the Name of YHWH. A wealth of scriptures
support this notion
It appears 6,823 times in the Jewish Bible, according to the Jewish Encyclopedia, and 6,828 times each in
the Biblia Hebraica and Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia texts of the Hebrew Scriptures.

Isaiah 8 - The Sign of Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz
A. The coming Assyrian invasion against Syria and Israel.
1. (1-4) The invasion is announced by the naming of Isaiah’s son.
Moreover the LORD said to me, “Take a large scroll, and write on it with a man’s
pen concerning Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. And I will take for Myself faithful
witnesses to record, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.” Then
I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the LORD said
to me, “Call his name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz; for before the child shall have
knowledge to cry ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the
spoil of Samaria will be taken away before the king of Assyria.”
a. This prophecy continues from Isaiah 7, where God assured Ahaz, king of
Judah, that he would not be overthrown by the combined forces of Syria and
Israel. God announced judgment against Syria and Israel, saying of their attack
against Judah: It shall not stand, nor shall it come to pass . . . Within sixty-five
years Ephraim will be broken, so that it will not be a people. Here, God gives
Isaiah a sign to explain more about how soon the defeat of Syria and Israel will
come.
b. Take a large scroll: It isn’t often that the prophets are commanded to write,
but here is one instance. Isaiah will writeconcerning Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,
which means speed to the spoil, hurry to the plunder.
c. Calvin on with a man’s pen: It “denotes any many of ordinary rank; and the
meaning is, that not even the most ignorant and uneducated persons may be
unable to read the writing.” Isaiah’s message was meant to be public, and at a
level any man could read and understand.
d. I will take for Myself faithful witnesses to record: The LORD appointed
two witnesses, so the validity of this word would be established. By the mouth
of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established. (Deuteronomy 19:15)

e. Then I went to the prophetess: This refers to Isaiah’s wife. She is called
a prophetess, though it could be in the sense of simply being the wife of the
prophet. However, she clearly brought forth prophecy on at least one occasion.
The birth and naming of her son Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz was a word from
God, so she certainly “brought forth” that prophecy!
i. There are many examples of prophetesses in the Bible: Miriam (Exodus
15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4), Huldah (2 Kings 22:14), Noadiah
(Nehemiah 6:14), Anna (Luke 2:36), and Philip’s four daughters (Acts
21:8-9). So, it may be that the wife of Isaiah had a prophetic ministry in
her own right. But it may also be that she was simply the wife of the
prophet, and her “prophecy” was giving birth to Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
For before the child shall have knowledge to cry “My father” and “My
mother”: Through the birth and naming of Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,
the LORD gives a time frame for the invasion of Assyria that will punish Syria
and Israel.
i. This is essentially the same as the near meaning of the Immanuel sign
of Isaiah 7:10-17, but this sign was more public and plainer.
2. (5-10) Judah will be afflicted also.
The LORD also spoke to me again, saying: “Inasmuch as these people refused the
waters of Shiloah that flow softly, and rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s son;
now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up over them the waters of the River,
strong and mighty; yhe king of Assyria and all his glory; he will go up over all his
channels and go over all his banks. He will pass through Judah, he will overflow
and pass over, he will reach up to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings
will fill the breadth of Your land, O Immanuel. Be shattered, O you peoples, and
be broken in pieces! Give ear, all you from far countries. Gird yourselves, but be
broken in pieces; gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces. Take counsel together,
but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, for God is with
us.”
a. These people refused the waters of Shiloah that flow softly: The people
of northern kingdom of Israel did not appreciate their humble streams (the
waters of Shiloah). Instead, they rejoiced in wicked leaders (in Rezin and
Remaliah’s son). So, God will give them a different kind of river - the waters of
the River, strong and mighty.
i. “The little stream of Shiloah sprung from Mount Zion on the
southwesterly side of Jerusalem. It flowed as softly as oil without any
murmur. Jerusalem’s existence and continuation depended on it.”

ii. The capital of the Assyrian Empire was Nineveh, and the city of
Nineveh was founded on a great river: the Tigris. The Assyrian Empire
was also centered across another mighty river: the Euphrates. The whole
land of Israel simply did not have a river like the Euphrates or the Tigris.
God is using the difference between the small, humble, yet adequate
waters of Israel and the mighty, yet uncontrolled rivers of Assyria to make
a point. It is as if God is saying, “You don’t like what I have given you?
You persist in rejecting what I give you? Then I will give you something
different, but you won’t like it either.”
iii. “The small and gentle waters should be more highly valued by us than
the large and rapid rivers of all the nations, and we ought not to envy the
great power of the ungodly.” (Calvin)
b. He will go up over all his channels and go over all his banks: Like a large
river in a flood, the Assyrian army will not stay confined to its “banks.” Instead,
they will “flow over” their attack on Israel and Syria, and “flood” Judah with
violence and destruction (He will pass through Judah).
c. He will reach up to the neck: Assyria would completely conquer the northern
nation of Israel. The ten northern tribes would cease to be a nation after the
Assyrians conquered them. But the Assyrians would not conquer the southern
nation of Judah. They would “flood” them (fill the breadth of Your land),
and reach up to the neck, but not over their heads. Judah would survive the
Assyrian invasion, but suffer much destruction from the Assyrians.
i. Indeed, 2 Kings 18:13 describes the extent of the Assyrian invasion
against Judah: And in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib
king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took
them. Yet, Hezekiah was able to keep the king of Assyria away from
Jerusalem, and barely able to survive, by buying his favor with riches
from the temple - even stripping gold from the temple doors to appease
the pagan king!
ii. “The sacred history assures us that these things were fulfilled . . . for
the Assyrians, whom the Jews called to their assistance, destroyed them.
This was the just punishment of their distrust; and we see in it a striking
instance of the wicked greediness of men, who cannot be satisified with
the promise and assistance of God.” (Calvin)
d. Your land, O Immanuel: This refers back to the “Immanuel” prophecy of
Isaiah 7:14. The land the Assyrians will invade doesn’t really belong to Judah or
to King Ahaz. It belongs to the LORD God, to the coming Messiah,
to Immanuel.

e. Gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces . . . speak the word, but it will
not stand, for God is with us: The victims of this Assyrian invasion (Syria,
Israel, and Judah) could prepare for the invasion all they wanted (gird
yourselves). But all their preparation would not protect them (but be broken in
pieces). They could take counsel together, but it will come to nothing. All
their plans and words and ideas will not stand, for God is with us. God’s will
was going to be done, despite all the plans and preparations Syria, Israel, and
Judah might make against it.
i. Who is the us of God is with us? In one sense the us is the Assyrian
army, because they were the instruments of God’s judgment against
Syria, Israel, and Judah. Nothing could stop the Assyrian army, because
even if they did not know it, or even if their own hearts were wrong in the
matter, God was using them. But the us is also the prophet himself. As a
messenger of God, his word would come to pass no matter what the
three nations did to prepare against it.
ii. God is with us also alludes to the Immanuel prophecy,
because Immanuel means “God is with us.”
B. How Judah can prepare for this invasion.
1. (11-15) Prepare by fearing God, not Assyria.
For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I
should not walk in the way of this people, saying: “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’
concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor
be troubled. The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; let Him be your fear,
and let Him be your dread. He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and
a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the
inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble; they shall fall and
be broken, be snared and taken.”
a. Do not say, “A conspiracy” . . . nor be afraid of their threats: Isaiah, and
all the people of Judah, were tempted to give into fear and panic, knowing the
dangerous place they were in. At the time of this prophecy, the combined armies
of Israel and Syria had destroyed much of Judah. Their armies either encircled
Jerusalem or were on the way. They planned to depose King Ahaz of Judah and
set their own man on the throne (Isaiah 7:6). Now, Isaiah’s prophecy declared
the armies of Syria and Israel would not succeed in conquering Judah, but the
Assyrians (who they trusted to help them) would attack them and do much
damage. In the midst of all this, it would be easy to let your heart or mind settle
on conspiracies and threats. But God tells them not to.

b. The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; let Him be your fear: Instead of
fearing conspiracies and threats, fear God. Don’t see yourself at the mercy of
opposing armies; you are in God’s hands. Worry about your place with
the LORD instead of your enemies!
c. He will be as a sanctuary: The LORD will be our sacred place, and
our place of protection. He will keep us safe from our enemies.
d. But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense: For those who trust Him,
the LORD will be as a sanctuary. But for those who don’t, He will be a stone
of stumbling and a rock of offense. Instead of finding protection from
the LORD, they will “trip” over Him, falling to destruction. Indeed, many among
them shall stumble; they shall fall and be broken.
i. We love to sing the song, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus,” and every
line of the song is true. But for those who reject the LORD, they could
sing, “What An Enemy I Have In God.” Instead of being as a sanctuary,
He will be a trap and a snare. Instead of being protected, they shall fall
and be broken. No wonder Psalm 2:12 says, Kiss the Son, lest He be
angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
ii. We know that Jesus is this stone of stumbling and a rock of
offense (1 Peter 2:6-8). This is a strong statement of the deity of Jesus,
because clearly in Isaiah 8:13-14, the LORD of hosts is the stone, and
clearly in 1 Peter 2:6-8, Jesus Christ is the stone.
iii. This is the same idea behind the statement of Simeon when he held
the child Jesus, as recorded in Luke 2:34: Behold, this Child is destined
for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be
spoken against.
2. (16-18) Prepare by waiting on the LORD.
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait on
the LORD, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope in Him.
Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and
wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.
a. And I will wait on the LORD: Waiting on the LORD is not passive inactivity.
It means to wait on the LORD as a waiter would wait on a table. It means to be
totally attentive to the LORD, focused on His every move, and responsive to His
every desire. At times it means inactivity, but even that is an “active inactivity,”
where we stand before the LORD, totally focused on Him, waiting for what He
wants next.

i. At the time Isaiah spoke, the leaders and the people of Judah were
waiting on the armies of Israel and Syria, because they were under
attack. As they heard of the danger from the Assyrians, they would be
tempted to put their focus on them. But their focus was on these armies,
not on the LORD. Isaiah says, “Battle against Syria and Israel by setting
your focus on the LORD. Prepare for the coming attack from Assyria by
waiting on the LORD instead of your enemies.”
b. Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples: Waiting on
the LORD is connected with His word. We can wait on the LORD by waiting on
His word.
c. Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for
signs and wonders in Israel: Isaiah had been called to prophesy, and to use
his children in his prophetic messages (Isaiah 7:3, 8:3). So he declares, Here
am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! It is as if he is saying,
“Look at us! We are the message!”
i. The name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz means, “Speed to the spoil, hurry to
the plunder.” This spoke of the coming attack on Syria, Israel, and Judah
by Assyria. The name Shear-Jashub means, “A Remnant Shall Return.”
This spoke of the restoration God would eventually bring. The
name Isaiah means, “Salvation is of the LORD.” This spoke of the
attitude and hope Judah needed to have.
ii. We are also the children of God, and we are His message. Hebrews
2:11-13 quotes this passage to communicate this truth: For both He who
sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which
reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying . . . “Here am I
and the children whom God has given Me.” Just as much as Isaiah’s
children were living witnesses of the truth of God’s word, so are we as
God’s children.
3. (19-22) Prepare by seeking His light and word, not the darkness of the occult.
And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who
whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the
dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak
according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. They will pass
through it hard pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry,
that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
Then they will look to the earth, and see trouble and darkness, gloom of anguish;
and they will be driven into darkness.

a. Seek those who are mediums and wizards: In the present danger from
Syria and Israel, and in the coming danger from Assyria, Judah will be tempted
to seek guidance and comfort from those who are mediums and wizards.
Isaiah exposes the foolishness of this, when he says, “Should not a people
seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?”
i. When you are in trouble, shouldn’t you seek your God? If you can’t rely on
your God when you are in trouble, then what good is your God?
ii. What sense does it make to seek the dead on behalf of the
living? The dead are the dead, the living are the living. The living God
speaks through His living Word and His living people to guide us. There
is no reason to seek the dead.
iii. This passage also exposes the foolishness of praying to the saints.
The exact same question should be asked: Should they seek the dead
on behalf of the living?
b. To the law and to the testimony! Forget about mediums and wizards and
the dead. Instead of all that deception and foolishness, To the law and to the
testimony! Go to God’s Word!
i. Law and testimony each refer to God’s Word. We might say
that law refers to God’s holy commands, and testimonyrefers to His
dealings with His people as recorded in His Word. But that may be slicing
it too thin, because often similar terms for God’s Word are repeated, not
for the sake of distinction, but for the sake of emphasis.
ii. How it needs to be proclaimed to our pulpits today: To the law and to
the testimony! Enough with your over-use of anecdotes and jokes!
Enough with your emphasis on entertainment and sappy stories! Enough
with your catering to itching ears! Enough with your hobbyhorses and pet
peeves! To the law and to the testimony!
iii. “Let us remember, as ministers of the Gospel, what M’Cheyne
beautifully said; ‘Depend upon it,’ said he, ‘it is God’s Word not man’s
comment upon God’s Word, that saves souls;’ and I have marked, that if
ever we have a conversion at any time, in ninety-nine cases out of a
hundred, the conversion is rather traceable to the text, or to some
Scripture quoted in the sermon, than to any trite or original saying by the
preacher. It is God’s Word that breaks the fetters and sets the prisoner
free, it is God’s Word instrumentally that saves souls, and therefore let us
bring everything to the touchstone.” (Spurgeon)
c. If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no
light in them: If there is a disagreement between God’s word and the word of
the messenger, it isn’t hard to figure out who is wrong. The messenger is wrong.
The word judges the messenger; the messenger doesn’t judge the word.

d. They will be driven into darkness: When they forsake God’s word and trust
in mediums and wizards and the dead, they are courting darkness, not light.

would there have been any use of organs by the help of which he might receive his food or get rid of what
he had already digested, since there was nothing which went from him or came into him: for there was
nothing beside him. Of design he was created thus, his own waste providing his own food, and all that he
did or suffered taking place in and by himself. For the Creator conceived that a being which was selfsufficient would be far more excellent than one which lacked anything; and, as he had no need to take
anything or defend himself against any one, the Creator did not think it necessary to bestow upon him
hands: nor had he any need of feet, nor of the whole apparatus of walking; but the movement suited to his
spherical form was assigned to him, being of all the seven that which is most appropriate to mind and
intelligence; and he was made to move in the same manner and on the same spot, within his own limits
revolving in a circle. All the other six motions were taken away from him, and he was made not to partake
of their deviations. And as this circular movement required no feet, the universe was created without legs
and without feet.[3]
The notion of a serpent or dragon eating its own tail can be traced back to Ancient Egypt, circa 1600 BC. In the
Pyramid of Unas dated between 2375 BC and 2345 BC, hieroglyphs on the west wall gable of the Sarcophagus
chamber can be read: "A serpent is entwined by a serpent" and "the male serpent is bitten by the female
serpent, the female serpent is bitten by the male serpent, Heaven is enchanted, earth is enchanted, the male
behind mankind is enchanted" [4] From ancient Egypt it passed to Phoenicia where it was used as a symbol
for Janus,[5]before it passed to the Greek philosophers, who gave it the name Ouroboros ("tail-devourer").[citation
needed]
In Gnosticism, this serpent symbolized eternity and the soul of the world.
Christianity adopted the Ouroboros as symbols of the limited confines of the material world (that there is an
"outside" being implied by the demarcation of an inside), and the self-consuming transitory nature of a mere
"worldly existence" of this world, following in the footsteps of the preacher in Ecclesiastes 3:9-14. G. K. Chesterton,

in The Everlasting Man, uses it as a symbol of the circular and self-defeating nature of pantheistic mysticism and
of most modern philosophy.
Palladium is found in many electronics including computers, mobile phones, multilayer ceramic capacitors, component plating, low voltage electrical contacts, and SED/OLED/LCD televisions.
Palladium is also used in dentistry, medicine, hydrogen purification, chemical applications, and groundwater
treatment. Palladium plays a key role in the technology used for fuel cells, which combines hydrogen and oxygen
to produce electricity, heat and water.
The numerous applications and limited supply sources of palladium result in palladium drawing
considerable investment interest
Palladium chloride was at one time prescribed as a tuberculosis treatment at the rate of 0.065 g per day
(approximately one milligram per kilogram of body weight). This treatment did have many negative side-effects,
and was later replaced by more effective drugs.[6]
Palladium's affinity for hydrogen led it to play an essential role in the Fleischmann-Pons experiment in 1989, also
known as cold fusion.
In the run up to 2000, Russian supply of palladium to the global market was repeatedly delayed and
disrupted[7] because the export quota was not granted on time, for political reasons. The ensuing market panic
drove the palladium price to an all-time high of $1100 per troy ounce in January 2001.[8] Around this time,
the Ford Motor Company, fearing auto vehicle production disruption due to a possible palladium shortage,
stockpiled large amounts of the metal purchased near the price high. When prices fell in early 2001, Ford lost
nearly US$1 billion.[9] World demand for palladium increased from 100 tons in 1990 to nearly 300 tons in 2000.
The global production of palladium from mines was 222 metric tons in 2006 according to USGS data.[10] Most
palladium is used for catalytic converters in the automobile industry.[11]
Palladium is also produced in nuclear fission reactors and can be extracted from spent nuclear fuel (see synthesis
of noble metals) though the quantity produced is insignificant
Naturally-occurring palladium is composed of six isotopes. The most stable radioisotopes are 107Pd with a halflife of 6.5 million years, 103Pdwith a half-life of 17 days, and 100Pd with a half-life of 3.63 days. Eighteen other
radioisotopes have been characterized with atomic weightsranging from 90.94948(64) u (91Pd) to
122.93426(64) u (123Pd).[13] Most of these have half-lives that are less than a half-hour, except 101Pd (half-life:
8.47 hours), 109Pd (half-life: 13.7 hours), and 112Pd (half-life: 21 hours).

Radiogenic 107Ag is a decay product of 107Pd and was first discovered in the Santa Clara, California meteorite of
1978.[14] The discoverers suggest that the coalescence and differentiation of iron-cored small planets may have
occurred 10 million years after a nucleosynthetic event.107Pd versus Ag correlations observed in bodies, which
have clearly been melted since accretion of the solar system, must reflect the presence of short-lived nuclides in
the early solar system.[15]
As a commodity, palladium bullion has ISO currency codes of XPD and 964. Palladium is one of only four metals to
have such codes, the others being gold, silver and platinum.
Electronics
The second biggest application of palladium in electronics is making the multilayer ceramic
capacitor.[23] Palladium (and palladium-silver alloys) are used as electrodes in multi-layer
ceramic capacitors.[17] Palladium (sometimes alloyed with nickel) is used in connector platings in consumer
electronics.
It is also used in plating of electronic components and in soldering materials. The electronic sector consumed
1.07 million troy ounces(33.2 metric tons) of palladium in 2006, according to a Johnson Matthey report.[24]
Palladium hydride is metallic palladium that contains a substantial quantity of hydrogen within its crystal lattice.
At room temperature and atmospheric pressure, palladium can absorb up to 900 times its own volume of hydrogen
in a reversible process. This property has been investigated because hydrogen storage is of such interest and a
better understanding of what happens at the molecular level could give clues to designing improved metal
hydrides. A palladium based store, however, would be prohibitively expensive due to the cost of the metal.
Palladium itself has been used as a precious metal in jewelry since 1939, as an alternative to platinum or white
gold. This is due to its naturally white properties, giving it no need for rhodium plating. It is slightly whiter, much
lighter and about 12% harder than platinum. Similar to gold, palladium can be beaten into a thin leaf form as thin
as 100 nm (1/250,000 in).[5] Like platinum, it will develop a hazy patina over time. Unlike platinum, however,
palladium may discolor at high soldering temperatures, become brittle with repeated heating and cooling, and
react with strong acids.[26]
Palladium is one of the three most popular metals used to make white gold alloys.[17] (Nickel and silver can also
be used.) Palladium-gold is a more expensive alloy than nickel-gold, but seldom causes allergic reactions
(though certain cross-allergies with nickel may occur).[27]
When platinum was declared a strategic government resource during World War II, many jewelry bands were
made out of palladium.[28] As recently as September 2001,[29] palladium was more expensive than platinum
and rarely used in jewelry also due to the technical obstacle ofcasting. However the casting problem has been
resolved, and its use in jewelry has increased because of a large spike in the price of platinum and a drop in the
price of palladium.[30]
Prior to 2004, the principal use of palladium in jewelry was as an alloy in the manufacture of white gold jewelry,
but, beginning early in 2004 when gold and platinum prices began to rise steeply, Chinese jewelers began
fabricating significant volumes of palladium jewelry. Johnson Matthey estimated that in 2004, with the
introduction of palladium jewelry in China, demand for palladium for jewelry fabrication was 920,000 ounces, or
approximately 14% of the total palladium demand for 2004 - an increase of almost 700,000 ounces from the
previous year. This growth continued during 2005, with estimated worldwide jewelry demand for palladium of
about 1.4 million ounces, or almost 21% of net palladium supply, again with most of the demand centered in
China. The popularity of palladium jewelry is expected to grow in 2008 as the world's biggest producers embark
on a joint marketing effort to promote palladium jewelry worldwide [31]

alladium(II) chloride, bromide and acetate are reactive and relatively inexpensive, making them convenient entry
points to palladium chemistry. All three compounds are not monomeric; the chloride and bromide often need to
be refluxed in acetonitrile to obtain the more reactive acetonitrile complex monomers, e.g.:[16]
PdCl2 + 2 MeCN → PdCl2(MeCN)2
The great many reactions in which palladium compounds serve as catalysts are collectively known as palladium
coupling reactions. Prominent examples include the Heck, Suzuki reaction, and Stille reactions. Palladium(II)
acetate, tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (Pd(PPh3)4,
and tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0) (Pd2(dba)3) are useful in this regard, either as catalysts, or as starting
points to catalysts.

The largest use of palladium today is in catalytic converters.[17] Palladium is also used in jewelry,
in dentistry,[17][18] watch making, in blood sugar test strips, in aircraft spark plugs and in the production
of surgical instruments and electrical contacts.[19] Palladium is also used to make professional transverse
flutes.[20] As a commodity, palladium bullion has ISO currency codes of XPD and 964. Palladium is one of only
four metals to have such codes, the others being gold, silver and platinum.
ETF Securities USA has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for permission to launch a U.S.-based exchange-traded fund backed by
a basket of physical gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
If allowed to begin trading, the new fund may push up prices for the precious metals.
The filing, dated Friday, says the company proposes to create the ETFS Physical PM Basket Shares, to be issued through a trust.
"The investment objective of the trust is for the shares to reflect the performance of the prices of physical gold, silver, platinum and palladium, in
the proportions held by the trust, less the trust's expenses," the filing says.
ETF Securities USA "believes that, for many investors, the shares will represent a cost-effective investment in bullion," the filing says.
The precious metals held by the trust will be valued on the basis of London afternoon fixes for gold, platinum and palladium and by the silver fix at
approximately noon London time.
The company expects the shares will trade on the New York Stock Exchange Arca platform, the filing says.
"The shares are designed for investors who want a cost-effective and convenient way to invest in a basket of bullion with minimal credit risk," the
filing says.
The fund will track the spot price of the underlying metal minus management fees and is backed by physical bullion, meaning that physical metal is
put into storage to back shares that trade like a stock but track the price of the commodity.
ETF Securities notes that, since the fund will take metal off the market, it could cause bullion prices to rise, especially for the relatively small
markets for platinum and palladium, where supply and demand constraints exist that are generally not present for gold and silver.
"Purchasing activity associated with acquiring the bullion required for deposit into the trust in connection with the creation of baskets may
temporarily increase the market price of gold, silver, platinum and palladium, which will result in higher prices for the shares," the filing says.
If the SEC declares the new fund effective, ETFS Physical PM Basket Shares would join the company's four other U.S. physically backed precious
metals exchange-traded funds.
Holdings in ETFS Physical Swiss Gold Shares (SGOL), ETFS Physical Silver Shares (SIVR), ETFS Physical Platinum Shares (PPLT) and ETFS
Physical Palladium Shares (PALL) recently topped $1 billion.

The platinum and palladium funds began trading Jan. 8 on the NYSE Arca and were the first ETFs for the platinum group metals in the U.S. Since
they began trading, some market participants have said that they have created price volatility in the platinum and palladium market.

We first learn of Enoch in Genesis 5 but it leaves us with questions. Hebrews 11 has the answers and Jude
quotes Enoch! How did Jude come to know the words of Enoch? They are not in the Bible. The answer of
course, is The Book of Enoch. A book which is actually quoted not only by Jude, but also James the natural
brother of Jesus.
The quote in (Jude 14-15) & (1 Enoch 1:9) is as follows: "In the seventh (generation) from Adam Enoch also
prophesied these things, saying: 'Behold, the Lord came with his holy myriads, to execute judgment on all, and
to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of
all the harsh things which ungodly sinners spoke against him'."
What is the Book of Enoch and where did it come from?
Enoch was the grandfather of Noah. The Book of Enoch chapter 68:1 "And after that my grandfather Enoch gave
me all the secrets in the book and in the parables which had been given to him, and he put them together for me
in the words of the book of the parables." This makes it possible for the Book to have survived the flood as its not
too hard to accept that Noah would have taken his Great Grandfathers writings with him onto the ark.

The Book of Enoch was extant centuries before the birth of Christ and yet is considered by many to be more
Christian in its theology than Jewish. It was considered scripture by many early Christians. The earliest literature
of the so-called "Church Fathers" is filled with references to this mysterious book. The early second century
"Epistle of Barnabus" makes much use of the Book of Enoch. Second and Third Century "Church
Fathers" like Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria all make use of the Book of
Enoch. Tertullian (160-230 C.E) even called the Book of Enoch "Holy Scripture".
The Ethiopic Church even added the Book of Enoch to its official canon. It was widely known and read the first
three centuries after Christ. This and many other books became discredited after the Council of Laodicea. And
being under ban of the authorities, afterwards it gradually passed out of circulation.
At about the time of the Protestant Reformation, there came to be a renewed interest in the
Book of Enoch which had long since been lost to the modern world. By the late 1400's rumors
began to spread that somewhere a copy of the long lost Book of Enoch might still exist.
During this time many books arose claiming to be the long lost book and were later found to
be forgeries.
The return of the long lost Book of Enoch to the modern western world is credited to the
famous explorer James Bruce, who in 1773 returned from six years in Abyssinia with three
Ethiopic copies of the lost book. In 1821 Richard Laurence published the first English
translation. The famous R.H. Charles edition was published in 1912. In the following years
several portions of the Greek text surfaced. Then with the discovery of cave 4 of the Dead
Sea Scrolls, seven fragmentary copies of the Aramaic text were discovered.
The Book of Enoch is divided into five basic parts, but it is the The Book of Parables (37-71)
which gives scholars the most trouble for it is primarily concerned with a figure called "the
messiah"; "the righteous one"; "the chosen one" and "the son of man."
Chapter 46:1-2 [1] There I beheld the Ancient of days whose head was like white wool, and
with him another, whose countenance resembled that of a man. His countenance was full of
grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels, who went with
me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was;
whence he was; and why he accompanied the Ancient of days. [2] He answered and said to
me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has
dwealt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits
has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting
uprightness."
The opening verses of the Book of Enoch tell us that the revelations in this book were not
meant for Enoch's generation, rather a remote generation, and of course the book would
make more sense to the generations after Christ. We know that the early Church made use of
the Book of Enoch, but it was then all but lost, until recent times. Perhaps this book was
meant for our generation, as it is widely available today after being concealed for over a
millennia.

(Enoch 1:1-3) The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and
righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are
to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes
were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels
showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not
for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.
Compare this with Enoch 1:9, translated from the Ethiopic (found also in Qumran scroll 4Q204=4QEnochc ar, col
I 16-18[12]
"And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to
destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have
ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."
Compare this also with what may be the original source of 1En1:9 in Deuteronomy 33:2 [13][14][15]
"The Lord came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us; he shone forth from Mount Paran; he came
from the ten thousands of holy ones, with flaming fire at his right hand."
Enoch is considered as Scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (16:4)[21] and by many of the
early Church Fathers as Athenagoras[22], Clement of
Alexandria[23], Irenaeus[24] and Tertullian[25] who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had
been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.[26]
However, later Fathers denied the canonicity of the book and some even considered the letter of Jude
uncanonical because it refers to an "apocryphal" work[27]. By the fourth century it was mostly excluded from
Christian lists of the Biblical canon, and it was omitted from the canon by most of the Christian church (the
Ethiopian Orthodox Church being an exception).
The traditional view of the Ethiopic Orthodox Church, which reckons 1 Enoch as an inspired document, is that
the Ethiopic text is the original one, written by Enoch himself. In their view the following opening sentence of
Enoch is the first and oldest sentence written in any human language, since Enoch was the first to write letters:

Aramaic
Eleven Aramaic-language fragments of the Book of Enoch were found in cave 4 of Qumran in 1948,[28] and are
in the care of the Israel Antiquities Authority. They were translated for and discussed by Józef Milik and Matthew
Black in The Books of Enoch[29]. Another translation has been released by Vermes and Garcia-Martinez [30].
Milik described the documents as being white or cream in color, blackened in areas, made of leather which was
smooth, thick and stiff. It was also partly damaged with the ink blurred and faint.

the idea of the origin of the evil caused by the fallen angels, who came on the earth to unite with human women.
These fallen angels are considered ultimately responsible for the spread of evil and impurity on the earth[35]:90;
 the absence in 1 Enoch of formal parallels to the specific laws and commandment found in
the Mosaic Torah and of references to issues likeShabbat observance or the rite of circumcision.
The Sinaitic covenant and Torah are not of central importance in the Book of Enoch[38]:50-51;
 the concept of "End of Days" as the time of final judgment that takes the place of promised earthly
rewards[35]:92;
 the rejection of the Second Temple's sacrifices considered impure: according to Enoch 89:73, the Jews,
when returned from the exile, "reared up that tower (the temple) and they began again to place a table
before the tower, but all the bread on it was polluted and not pure";
 a solar calendar in opposition to the moon-based calendar used in the Second Temple (a very important
aspect for the determination of the dates of religious feasts);
 an interest in the angelic world that involves life after death[
The relation between 1 Enoch and the Essenes was noted even before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls[41].
While there is consensus to consider the sections of the Book of Enoch found in Qumran as texts used by the
Essenes, the same is not so clear for the Enochic texts not found in Qumran (mainly the Book of Parables): it
was proposed[42] to consider these parts as expression of the mainstream, but not-Qumranic, essenic
movement. The main peculiar aspects of the not-Qumranic units of 1 Enoch are the following:
 a Messiah called "Son of Man", with divine attributes, generated before the creation, who will act directly
in the final judgment and sit on a throne of glory (1 Enoch 46:1-4, 48:2-7, 69:26-29)[12]:562-563
 the sinners usually seen as the wealthy ones and the just as the oppressed (a theme we find also in
the Psalms of Solomon).
There is little doubt that 1 Enoch was influential in molding New Testament doctrines about the Messiah, the Son of
Man, the messianic kingdom, demonology, the resurrection, and eschatology[2]:10. The limits of the influence of
1Enoch are discussed at length by RH Charles [45], E Isaac [2], GW Nickelsburg [46] in their respective
translations and commentaries. It is possible that the earlier sections of 1Enoch had direct textual and content
influence on many Biblical apocrypha, as Jubilees, 2 Baruch, 2 Esdras, Apocalypse of Abraham and 2 Enoch, though
even in these cases, the connection is typically more branches of a common trunk than direct development.

The introduction to the Book of Enoch tells us that Enoch is "a just man, whose eyes were opened by God so
that he saw a vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the sons of God showed to me, and from them I heard
everything, and I knew what I saw, but [these things that I saw will] not [come to pass] for this generation, but for
a generation that has yet to come."
It discusses God coming to Earth on Mount Sinai with His hosts to pass judgement on mankind. It also tells us
about the luminaries rising and setting in the order and in their own time and never change.
"Observe and see how (in the winter) all the trees seem as though they had withered and shed all their
leaves, except fourteen trees, which do not lose their foliage but retain the old foliage from two to three
years till the new comes."
How all things are ordained by God and take place in his own time. The sinners shall perish and the great and
the good shall live on in light, joy and peace.
"And all His works go on thus from year to year for ever, and all the tasks which they accomplish for Him,
and their tasks change not, but according as God hath ordained so is it done."

The first section of the book depicts the interaction of the fallen angels with mankind; Sêmîazâz compels the
other 199 fallen angels to take human wives to "beget us children".
"And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I
alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear
an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.'. Then
sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two
hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount
Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it."
The names of the leaders are given as "Samyaza (Shemyazaz), their
leader, Araqiel, Râmêêl, Kokabiel, Tamiel, Ramiel, Dânêl, Chazaqiel,Baraqiel, Asael, Armaros, Batariel, Bezaliel, Anan
iel, Zaqiel, Shamsiel, Satariel, Turiel, Yomiel, Sariel."
This results in the creation of the Nephilim (Genesis) or Anakim/Anak (Giants) as they are described in the book:
"And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells[56]: Who
consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned
against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and
fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood."
It also discusses the teaching of humans by the fallen angels
chiefly Azâzêl:
"And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and
breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the
art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of
antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly
stones, and all colouring tinctures. And there arose much
godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led
astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjâzâ taught
enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armârôs the resolving of
enchantments, Barâqîjâl, taught astrology, Kôkabêl the constellations,
Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiêl the signs of the earth,
Shamsiêl the signs of the sun, and Sariêl the course of the moon."
Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel appeal to God to judge the inhabitants of the world and the fallen
angels. Uriel is then sent by God to tell Noah of the coming apocalypse and what he needs to do.
"Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spoke, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech,
and said to him: Go to Noah and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end
that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon
the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. And now instruct him that he may escape and
his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world."

God commands Raphael to imprison Azâzêl:
"the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the
darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl (Gods
Kettle/Crucible/Cauldron), and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and
jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever,
and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great
judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels
have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal
the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the
secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons.
And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught
by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin."
God gave Gabriel instructions concerning the Nephilim and the imprisonment of the fallen angels:
"And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the biters and the reprobates, and against the children of
fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men
[and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle"
The Lord commands Michael to bind the fallen angels.
"And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjâzâ and his associates who have
united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all
their uncleanness. 12. And when their sons have slain one another, and they
have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy
generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their
consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. 13. In
those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: (and) to the torment and the
prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be
condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with
them to the end of all generations."
Book of Parables
Dated: presumed by western scholars to be written during 1st century BC or very beginning of 1st century
CE.[57]
No fragments of chapters 37-71 (Book of Parables) were found at Qumran. This led J.T. Milik in 1976[29], in line
with many scholars of the 19th century as Lucke (1832), Hofman (1852), Wiesse (1856) and Phillippe (1868), to
believe that those chapters were written in later Christian times by a Jewish Christian to enhance Christian
beliefs with Enoch's authoritative name.

However, J.H. Charlesworth summarized[58] the current scholarly consensus, saying: "It became
obvious that Milik had not proved his position, as Fitzmyer pointed out as soon as The Book of Enoch
had been published. Repeatedly the specialists on I Enoch have come out in favor of the Jewish
nature and its first century CE origin, and probable pre-70 date. The list of specialists on I Enoch
arguing for this position has become overwhelmingly impressive: Isaac, Nickelsburg, Stone, Knibb,
Anderson, Black, VanderKam, Greenfield and Sutter. The consensus communis is unparalleled in
almost any other area of research; no specialists now argue that I Enoch 37-71 is a Christian and
postdates the first century." .
The Book of Parables appears to be based on the Book of Watchers, but presents a
later development of the idea of final judgement and eschatology, concerned not only
with the destiny of the fallen angels but also of the evil kings of the earth. The Book of
Parables uses the expression "Son of Man" for the eschatological protagonist, who is
also called “Righteous One,” “Chosen One,” and “Messiah”, and narrates his preexistence and his sitting on the throne of glory in the final judgment.

The Astronomical Book
Dated: written in the fourth/third century BC according to theory of western scholars.
This book contains descriptions of the movement of heavenly bodies and of the firmament, as a knowledge
revealed to Enoch in his trips to Heaven, and it describes a Solar calendar that was later described also in
the Book of Jubilees which was used by the Dead Sea sect. The use of this calendar made it impossible to
celebrate the festivals simultaneously with the Temple of Jerusalem.
The year was composed from 364 days, divided in 4 equal seasons of 91 days each. Each season was composed
of three equal months of 30 days, plus an extra day at the end of the third month. The whole year was thus
composed of exactly 52 weeks, and every calendar day occurred always on the same day of the week. Each
year and each season started always on Wednesday, which was the fourth day of thecreation narrated in Genesis,
the day when the lights in the sky, the seasons, the days and the years were created. It is not known exactly how
they used to reconcile this calendar with the tropical year of 365.24219 days. Probably they used to add
a intercalary week every few years, in order to have the year always to start on Wednesday.

The Book of Dream Visions, containing a vision of a history of Israel all the way down to what the majority have
interpreted as the Maccabean Revolt, is dated by most to Maccabean times (about 163-142 BC). It was written
before the Flood according to the Ethiopian Christian Church.

The second Dream-Vision in this section of the Book of Enoch is an allegorical account of the history of Israel,
that uses animals to represent human beings and human beings to represent angels.
One of several hypothetical reconstructions of the meanings in the dream is as follows based on the works of R.

Description of the Dream Visions
There are a great many links between the first book and this one, including the outline of the story and the
imprisonment of the leaders and destruction of the Nephilim. The dream includes sections relating to the book of
Watchers:
"And those seventy shepherds were judged and found guilty, and they were cast into that fiery abyss. And
I saw at that time how a like abyss was opened in the midst of the earth, full of fire, and they brought those
blinded sheep." - The fall of the evil ones
"And all the oxen feared them and were affrighted at them, and began to bite with their
teeth and to devour, and to gore with their horns. And they began, moreover, to devour
those oxen; and behold all the children of the earth began to tremble and quake before
them and to flee from them." - The creation of the Nephilim et al.
86:4, 87:3, 88:2, and 89:6 all describe the types of Nephilim that are created during the times
described in The Book of Watchers, though this doesn't mean that the authors of both books are the
same. Similar references exist in Jubilees 7:21-22.
The book describes their release from the Ark along with three bulls white, red and black which are Shem,
Japheth, and Ham in 90:9. It also covers the death of Noah described as the white bull and the creation of many
nations:
"And they began to bring forth beasts of the field and birds, so that there arose different genera: lions,
tigers, wolves, dogs, hyenas, wild boars, foxes, squirrels, swine, falcons, vultures, kites, eagles, and
ravens" 90:10
It then describes the story of Moses and Aaron (90:13-15) including the miracle of the river splitting in two for
them to pass, and the creation of the stone commandments. Eventually arriving at a "pleasant and glorious land"
(90:40) where attacked by dogs (Philistines), foxes (Ammonites, Moabites) and wild boars (Esau).
"And that sheep whose eyes were opened saw that ram, which was amongst the sheep,
till it †forsook its glory† and began to butt those sheep, and trampled upon them, and
behaved itself unseemly. 45. And the Lord of the sheep sent the lamb to another lamb and
raised it to being a ram and leader of the sheep instead of that ram which had †forsaken
its glory†." - David replacing Saul as leader of Israel
The creation of Solomon's temple it also describes the house which may be
the tabernacle "And that house became great and broad, and it was built for those
sheep: (and) a tower lofty and great was built on the house for the Lord of the sheep,
and that house was low, but the tower was elevated and lofty, and the Lord of the
sheep stood on that tower and they offered a full table before Him". This interpretation
is accepted by Dillmann p 262, Vernes p 89, and Schodde p. 107. It also describes the
escape of Elijah the prophet, In 1 Kings 17:2-24 he is fed by 'ravens' so if Kings uses a
similar analogy he may have been fed by the Seleucids.

"saw the Lord of the sheep how He wrought much slaughter amongst them in their herds until those sheep
invited that slaughter and betrayed His place."
This describes the various tribes of Israel 'inviting' in other nations 'betraying
his place' i.e. the land promised to their ancestors by God.
This part of the book can be taken to be the kingdom splitting into the northern and southern tribes. That is Israel
and Judah eventually leading to Israel falling to the Assyrians in 721 BC and Judah falling to the Babylonians a
little over a century later 587 BC.
"And He gave them over into the hands of the lions and tigers, and
wolves and hyenas, and into the hand of the foxes, and to all the wild
beasts, and those wild beasts began to tear in pieces those sheep." God abandons Israel for they have abandoned him.
There is also mention in fifty nine of seventy shepherds with their own seasons; there seems to be some debate
on the meaning of this section some suggesting that it's a reference to the 70 appointed times in 25:11, 9:2,
1:12. Another interpretation is the seventy weeks in Daniel 9:24. However the general interpretation is that these
are simply Angels. This section of the book and later near the end describes the appointment by God of the 70
angels to protect the Israelites from enduring too much harm from the 'beasts and birds'. The later section
(110:14) describes how the 70 angels are judged for causing more harm to Israel than he desired finding them
guilty and are "cast into an abyss, full of fire and flaming, and full of pillars of fire."
"And the lions and tigers eat and devoured the greater part of those sheep, and the wild boars eat along
with them; and they burnt that tower and demolished that house." The sacking of Solomon's temple and
the tabernacle in Jerusalem by the Babylonians as they take Judah in 587 BC/586 BC exiling the
remaining Jews.
"And forthwith I saw how the shepherds pastured for twelve hours, and behold three of those sheep
turned back and came and entered and began to build up all that had fallen down of that house;"
"Cyrus allowed Sheshbazzar, a prince from the tribe of Judah, to bring the Jews from Babylon back to
Jerusalem. Jews were allowed to return with the Temple vessels that the Babylonians had taken.
Construction of the Second Temple began." - History of ancient Israel and Judah the temple is finished being
built in 515 BC.
The first part of this next section of the book seem to clearly describe the Maccabean revolt of 167 BC against
the Seleucids. The following two quotes have been altered from their original form to make the meanings of the
animal names clear.
"And I saw in the vision how the (Seleucids) flew upon those (faithful) and took one of those lambs, and dashed
the sheep in pieces and devoured them. And I saw till horns grew upon those lambs, and the (Seleucids) cast
down their horns; and I saw till there sprouted a great horn of one of those (faithful), and their eyes were opened.
And it looked at them and their eyes opened, and it cried to the sheep, and the rams saw it and all ran to it. And
notwithstanding all this those (Macedonians) and vultures and (Seleucids) and (Ptolemies) still kept tearing the
sheep and swooping down upon them and devouring them: still the sheep remained silent, but the rams
lamented and cried out. And those (Seleucids) fought and battled with it and sought to lay low its horn, but they
had no power over it." 109:8-12

"All the (Macedonians) and vultures and (Seleucids) and (Ptolemies) were gathered together, and
there came with them all the sheep of the field, yea, they all came together, and helped each other
to break that horn of the ram." 110:16
According to this theory, the first sentence is most likely the death of High Priest Onias III who is murdered which
is described in 1 Maccabees 3:33-35 (dies aprox 171 BC). The 'great horn' clearly isn't Mattathias the initiator of the
rebellion as he dies a natural death as described in1 Maccabees 2:49. It's also not Alexander the Great as the
great horn is described as a warrior who has fought the Macedonians, Seleucids and Ptolemies. Judas
Maccabeus (167 BC-160 BC) has fought all three of these, with a large number of winning battles against the
Seleucids over a large period of time "they had no power over it". He is also described as "one great horn among
six others on the head of a lamb" possibly pertaining to his five brothers and Mattathias. If you take this in
context of the history from Maccabeus time Dillman Chrest Aethiop says verse 13 can find its explanation in 1
Maccabees iii 7; vi. 52; v.; 2 Maccabees vi. 8 sqq., 13, 14; 1 Maccabees vii 41, 42 and 2 Maccabees x v, 8 sqq.
The evidence does seem to suggest that this is in fact the life and times of Judas Maccabeus. He is eventually
killed by the Seleucids at the Battle of Elasa where he faced "twenty thousand foot soldiers and two thousand
cavalry". At one time it was believed this passage possibly belonged to John Hyrcanus; the only reason for this
was the time between Alexander the Great and John Maccabeus was too short. However it has been asserted
that evidence shows this section does indeed discuss Maccabeus.
It then describes:
"And I saw till a great sword was given to the sheep, and the sheep proceeded against all the
beasts of the field to slay them, and all the beasts and the birds of the heaven fled before their
face."
This might be simply the "power of God", God was with them to avenge the death. It may also be
perhaps Jonathan Apphus taking over command of the rebels to battle on after Judas death. Other possible
appearances are John Hyrcanus (Hyrcanus I) (Hasmonean dynasty)
"And all that had been destroyed and dispersed, and all the beasts of the field, and all the
birds of the heaven, assembled in that house, and the Lord of the sheep rejoiced with great joy
because they were all good and had returned to His house."
Possibly describing John's reign a time of great peace and prosperity. Certain scholars also claim Alexander
Jannaeus of Judaea is alluded to in this book.
The end of the book describes the New Jerusalem, culminating in the
birth of a Messiah:
"And I saw that a white bull was born, with large horns and all the
beasts of the field and all the birds of the air feared him and made
petition to him all the time. 38. And I saw till all their generations

were transformed, and they all became white bulls; and the first
among them became a lamb, and that lamb became a great
animal and had great black horns on its head; and the Lord of the
sheep rejoiced over it and over all the oxen."
Still another interpretation, which has just as much as credibility, is that the last chapters of
this section simply refer to infamous battle of Armageddon, where all of the nations of the
world march against Israel; this interpretation is supported by the War Scroll, which describes
what this epic battle may be like, according to the group(s) that existed at Qumran.
The Epistle of Enoch
Dated: some scholars propose a date somewhere between the 170 BC and the 1st century BC.
This section can be studied as formed by five sub-sections[59], mixed by the final redactor:
 Apocalypse of Weeks (93:1-10 91:11-17): this sub-section, dated
usually the first half of 2nd century BC, narrates the history of the
world using a ten periods (said "weeks") scheme, of which seven
regard the past and three the future events (the final judgment). The
climax is in the seventh part of the tenth week where new heaven
shall appear and there will be many weeks without number for ever,
and all shall be in goodness and righteousness.
 Exhortation (91:1-10 91:18-19) this short list of exhortations to follow the righteousness said by Enoch to
his son Methuselah looks like to be a bridge to next sub-section.
 Epistle (92:1-5 93:11-105:2): the first part of the epistle sketches the wisdom of the Lord, final reward of
the justs and the punishment of the evils, and the two separated paths of righteousness and
unrighteousness. Then we have six oracles against the sinners, the witness of the whole creation
against them and the assurance of the fate after death. According Boccaccini[42]:131-138 the epistle is
composed by two layers: a "proto-epistle", with a theology near the deterministic viewpoint of the
Qumran group, and a slightly later part (94:4-104:6) that points out the personal responsibility of the
single, describing often the sinners as the wealthy ones and the justs as the oppressed (a theme we find
also in the Book of Parables).
 Birth of Noah (106-107): this part appears in Qumran fragments separated from the previous text by a
blank line, thus looking like an appendix. It narrates of the deluge and of Noah who is born already with
the appearance of an angel. Probably this text derives, as other small portions of 1 Enoch, from an
originally separated book (see Book of Noah), but was arranged by the redactor as direct speech of
Enoch himself.
 Conclusion (108): this second appendix was not found in
Qumram and is considered to be work of the final redactor. It
highlights the "generation of light" in opposition to the sinners
destined to the darkness.

Names of the fallen angels
Some of the fallen angels that are given in 1 Enoch have other names such as Rameel ('morning of God'), who
becomes Azazel and is also called Gadriel ('wall of God') in Chapter 69. Another example is that Araqiel ('Earth of
God') becomes Aretstikapha ('world of distortion') in Chapter 69.
"Azaz" as in Azazel means strength, so the name Azazel can refer to strength of God. But the
sense in which it is used most-probably means impudent (showing strength towards) which
comes out as arrogant to God. This is also a key point to his being Satan in modern thought.
The suffix of the names 'el' means 'God' (List of names referring to El) which is used in the names of high ranking
angels. The Archangels all include this such as Uriel (Flame of God) or Michael "who is like God?". Another is
given as Gadrel, who is said to have tempted Eve

We first learn of Enoch in Genesis 5 but it leaves us with questions. Hebrews 11 has the
answers and Jude quotes Enoch! How did Jude come to know the words of Enoch? They are
not in the Bible. The answer of course, is The Book of Enoch. A book which is actually quoted
by Jude in the New Testament. What is the Book of Enoch and where did it come from?

revelations and prophecies being received by myself, Rayn Kleipe-Green and Lana Cash.
My brother Nikolai Crumb was my second witness to this and confirmed with my father
that he had personally witnessed these revelations taking place.
Lana Cash will testify that she has bore witness to my prophecies and revelations since
they began in December 2008. Lana Cash and I have had shared visions and simultaneous
revelations on 2/10/2010 and 2/13/2010.
Rayn-Kleipe Green and Chris Cory have had innumerable simultaneous revelations
together since 2/09/2010.
Nikolai Crumb and I had a shared simultaneous revelation regarding the periodic table

Samyaza (Aramaic: ‫שמיחזה‬, Greek: Σεμιαζά)
also Semihazah, Shemyazaz, Sêmîazâz, Semjâzâ,Samjâzâ, Shemyaza, Shemhaza
i, and Amez[y]arak (Ethiopic corruption) is a fallen angel of apocryphal Jewish
and Christian tradition that ranked in the heavenly hierarchy as one of
the Grigori (meaning "Watchers" in Greek).
The name 'Shemyaza[z]' means 'infamous rebellion', the combination of 'shem'
[meaning 'name' or 'fame' {whether positive or negative}] + 'azaz' [which means
'rebellion' or 'arrogance' as a negative particle]. Michael Knibb lists him as “the
(or my) name has seen” or “he sees the name”.
The interesting thing about the second interpretation is there is a tale about Semjâzâ knowing
the explicit name of God and making a deal with a human Istahar to tell her the name
Some suggest that Samyaza is most likely another name for Satan (Heb:
'the adversary'), who was originally an entity created in the service of God;
he was the caretaker of God's throne, but later fell from the heavens
because of his pride according to some Abrahamic traditions.
Jesus states that he saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning in Luke 10:18. The
name Samyaza could be read as, 'infamous rebellion', rather fitting since he was
originally the most powerful angel in heaven but went on to rebel against God.
Others say that Samyaza should not be mistaken for another name for Satan, who some believe was "cast out"
from the heavens because of his refusal to worship Man, the newly created image of God, as written in
the Qur'an (7:11) and the pseudepigraphical Gospel of Bartholomew(IV:54-56). [2] This interpretation points to Rev.
12:9 and Gen. 6:4 as depicting two separate falls from heaven, one of Satan being cast down, the other of the
sons of God choosing to come to earth to take human wives.
In the Book
of Enoch he is portrayed as the leader of a band of angels called the Watchers that are
consumed with lust for mortal women and become Fallen Angels.
And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I
alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin. And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an
oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then
sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. (Enoch 6:3-5)

Grigori to join him in fornicating with women. As a result, he and the other sinful Grigori begot giant offspring (in
Genesis called Nephilim or 'fallen ones' in Hebrew) that dominated and feasted upon humans during the days of
Enoch. The Watchers' other sin was to teach humans various creative arts — especially Azâzêl's, who taught the
secrets of war, which brought down the wrath of God.
God commanded the angel Gabriel to cause the Giants to wage Civil War:
And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the biters and the reprobates, and against the children of
fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men
[and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle:

Finally, the judgement of the associates of Shemyazaz is described.
And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjâzâ and his associates who have
united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all
their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have
seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations
in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their
consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. In

After the destruction of the Giants, God caused the Great Flood (Noah's flood) to wipe out the humans who had

I was supposed to tell my father Jan Barry Crumb about this information last night because he will be
instrumental in the research and compiling of information needed to prove beyond a doubt the connection
between spirituality and molecular biology, that indeed Palladium and his followers are trying to break the
genetic code as well as utilizing binary code, computer technology, electricity and the internet to create a worldwide database or memory bank containing information about all humanity. The first computer was made
through a deal with Palladium and Hitler. People such as George Bush and Bill Gates are part of the Illuminati.
There is a reason why Bill Gates launched his “philanthropic” plan of vaccinating every child in the world. There
is a reason why George Bush “announced” the New World Order on 9/11/1991 – exactly ten years before the
fateful 9/11 tragedy. The House of Islam has indeed declared Jihad against America in the name of “God.” There
is a hierarchical connection between the leaders of these nations: America, Russia, China, Israel and
Afghanistan. Osama bin Laden has never been caught for a reason. It is all part of the Illuminati and connected
to the Berberger meetings. The microchipping technology that will lead to the inevitable MARK OF THE BEAST is

already in full swing. It started with animals – microchipping. The name “Palladium” is historically presented as
something which is a “safety” zone, light, shiny or comforting but this is the “wolf in sheep's clothing” as
beneath the surface it is not at all what it seems. The microchips that are the mark of the beast will be made
with or contain palladium and the number 6666 or 46. The binary code is a series of 1 and 0. YHWH's organic
code of creation all begins and ends with 2,8 and 1. This is the cornerstone of all creation. 28 and 1. And the
“missing link” is the spirit, whose pathway into all life and this earthly realm is LIGHT. The harnessing of crystals
and magnets were humanity's first conductor. Within the use of crystals and magnets all things are possible. In
Atlantis, people could tap into the universal mind and work as a unit to move objects or travel through time and
space. This is how Stonehenge came to be. The KEY to life is called FAITH plus FREE WILL plus LIGHT equals
CREATION equals INFINITE possibilities. This can be exemplified in the first words in the Holy Bible: “In the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on

Hydrogen and Nickel are cornerstone 28. All life and creation comes from those elements. The spirit can be
infused into humans and earth through these elements and the composition factors of light. Light IS the

Nickel is where matter comes from, the earth and universe begins with nickel. Hydrogen is where water comes
from. There is water in space. Our bodies are mostly water. The earth is mostly water. WATER + NICKEL+
