On July 15th, 2007, the fifth ChinaJoy ended successfully in Shanghai. The
success of the ChinaJoy built up the standing of ChinaJoy and strengthened its

specialized and authoritative Expo. During the show, the fifth ChinaJoy had drew

2. Brief introduction of the opening ceremony of the 5th China
Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference
The opening ceremony of the 5th China Digital Entertainment Expo &
Conference was a wonderful performance elaborated by sponsors. All the
government leaders, leaders of industrial associations from home and abroad,
senior management personnel of the giant companies in the games industry and
domestic and overseas authoritative media who participated in the expo attended
this opening ceremony. Attending this opening ceremony were more than 300
honorable guests from relevant administration, departments, industrial
associations and renowned game publishers from home and abroad, domestic
game operators and developers and game-related industries including
telecommunications, manufacturers of hardware, finance and venture capital field,

3. Survey of Conference
At the 5th ChinaJoy, the audience of the China Digital Entertainment Summit Forum reached
673 professionals; the audience at the forum of China Mobile Game Industry Development
reached 300 professionals; 300 persons attend the China Casual Games Forum; and more than
300 professionals participated in the China Game Investment and Development Forum.
During the expo, China Digital Entertainment forum had drew great attention from domestic
and overseas games industry. six governmental reports were delivered at China Digital
Entertainment forum, at the same time 9 reports on international industry, 9 domestic reports
were delivered; the China Casual Games Forum saw 7 domestic reports and 1 international
report. The audience was mostly senior management personnel of the digital entertainment
companies from home and abroad, leaders of domestic publishers, representatives of
telecommunications organizations, representatives of governments and associations, and
journalists of renowned media from home and abroad.

Forum
According to the on-site statistics, 717 professional audiences attended the China
Digital Entertainment Forum which was held in Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Jin Jiang
Oriental Pudong, Shanghai on July 14, 2007. Senior management of large-scale
enterprises at home and abroad and senior representatives of enterprises in
connection with digital interactive entertainment accounted for major proportion of
the guests, and there were 300 or so reporters from domestic and overseas famous

3. Analysis of basic information of media
The 5th ChinaJoy Expo once again attracted great attention from media at home and abroad.
During the exposition, there were over 1917 journalists from more than 450 famous domestic
and overseas media covered this activity on site every day. Among these journalists, 1737
