painting at The Verandah Cafe on 5 April 2015 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. On 5 and 6 April, The
Peninsula Easter Bunny will also be leaping around to take photos with the guests from 12:00 pm to
2:00 pm.

THE PENINSULA SPA
Retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, and rediscover inner natural balance through
relaxation, and calming of the mind and body. Building upon its peerless reputation for offering the
finest and most unique treatments available, The Peninsula Spa offers two new treatments featuring
Sattva by Simply Peninsula, a brand new spa programme and product line that promises to take
guests to new levels of blissful relaxation.
The Sattva Signature Podi (2 hours; HK$ 2,900*) begins with a traditional Podikizhi therapy. This
involves massaging the entire body with dried herb powders wrapped in muslin bolus bags and
dipped in warm oil, followed by an aromatic Ayurveda Aromatherapy massage, which includes
lymphatic drainage and balancing of the prana (chi or life force). The therapy is particularly
effective for treating water retention, sports injuries, muscular and nerve pain, soft tissue
inflammation and joint problems.

The Sattva Vedic Aromatherapy Massage (60 minutes; HK$ 1,380*) uses techniques such as marma
therapy and lymphatic drainage to balance the recipient’s prana while strengthening muscles and
joints, draining toxins and boosting the immune system. Featuring an original blend of Ayurveda
Aromatherapy active ingredients, this treatment also encourages better sleep patterns, combats
fatigue and reduces stress.
Guests are encouraged to arrive at The Spa 60 minutes prior to their treatment time in order to make
use of all the Spa facilities, including the Asian Tea Lounge, the Thermal Suite with Crystal Steam
Room, the Sauna with harbour views and the Relaxation Areas.
As part of The Peninsula Hong Kong’s three-floor health and fitness facility, the 12,000 sq ft (1,116
sq m) Spa occupies two floors, offering sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and 14 state-of-the-art
treatment rooms, creating an oasis of calm in the city for guests to renew themselves in mind, body
and spirit.
