Guidelines on Industrial Attachment Scheme
I.
Introduction
In view of the enormous success of the electronics industries at the River Pearl
Delta Region, which is widely believed to be the major manufacturing force in
the Asia Pacific area or even the world, the Department perceives the
importance of providing students with an essential exposure and a solid
training scheme in the electronics companies in Hong Kong and the Pearl
River Delta Region. Students will, no doubt, benefit immensely from the
Industrial Attachment Scheme.
The scheme provides all Full-Time Year 2 students with an optional 2-month
industrial attachment in Year-2 summer. This programme will enable
participants to be exposed to the industrial working environment.
