The aim of this activity is for you to interview students/pupils. In the dialogue, you will ask for
experiences and insights of their learning especially when instructional materials are utilized.
Instructions:
1) Look for 3 learners: a college student, a high school student and an intermediate elementary
pupil.
2) When they agree to have this interview with you, please indicate the needed information in the

3) Write your notes in a notebook before you place you place your synthesis points in short bond

Kimberly Zamora, Mr. Diaz is a nice instructor, he teaches us with effort and
patience when he usually explains some formulas in each topic to make us well
understands.
Mara Ravelo, Mr. Dacuno is one of the best instructors that I’ve meet. He discuss the
topic very well and he encourage his students to study.

instructional materials in facilitating their learning of the subject.

diagrams, realia, etc) in teaching?

Mary jean Zamora, yes because it helps us to quickly understand in the certain
discussion.

must used during discussion.
4. Find out if there are classes in their school that do not use instructional materials. How do
they find these classes (as in engaging, interesting, etc)?
a. Are there subjects that do not use instructional materials?

Kimberly Zamora, yes, maybe Filipino.
Mara Ravelo, No, because most of the time the teachers are used instructional
materials in teaching.
b. How do you find these classes?
Mary jean Zamora, its fine.
Kimberly Zamora, so far it’s ok.
Mara Ravelo, it’s interesting.
c. What materials can the teacher explore and use in order to improve the learning
process? (for College students only)
Mara Ravelo, books, computer, visual aid, gadget and other materials that can used
to improve the learning process.

using instructional material and also it is important in learning because it gives us
knowledge.

easy, and in learning it is important because its develop our learning.

knowledge, and in learning it is also important because it helps us wider our thinking
skills and more hands on.
b. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using such materials in learning?
Mary jean Zamora, the advantages is you can learn well and disadvantages are it
makes you lazy.
Kimberly Zamora, the advantages is you can simply understand in the certain topic
and the disadvantages are it makes you lazy to learn without using materials.
Mara Ravelo, the advantages is you can understand well and disadvantages is its hard
to make instructional materials.
