As a testament to its commitment to global education, Curtin established a campus at Miri in Sarawak, the oil industry region of east Malaysia, in 1999 as a joint venture between Curtin and the Malaysian Government. 9 Curtin continues to develop a range of new degrees appropriate to the international market. Master programs in International Business, International Studies, Future Studies, Cleaner Production and an online Master of Business Administration course are only a few of the postgraduate programs recently developed.
