Volunteer Corps
In December, HOPE worldwide will organize a trip for volunteers to visit some sponsored students in the location below
and organize some activities in their schools. The details are as follows:

Visit sponsored students in the mountain areas to verify their families’ economic status.
Bring letters and other donated materials from sponsors in Hong Kong.
Organize games and activities for students at the sponsored schools.
Sightseeing in Kunming City and develop friendship among volunteers.

Details
Anyone who is a current donor in HOPE worldwide’s Student-sponsorship programme
or interested individuals.

Children must be at least 6 years old to join and must be accompanied by parents.

The trip will be cancelled if participants are less than 10 persons.

The fee will be calculated based on actual expense. Any remaining fund will be
refunded to the participants.
Fees

The total fee is approx. HKD$4,800 per adult. It may be lower for children depending on
the discounts received.

It includes transportation, accommodation, meals, local tour & travel Insurance.

The temperature in Yuanyang is around 5 –15oC.
Dec 26, 2011 (Monday)
Travel from HK to Kunming by air. Travel to Yuanyang county by bus.
Dec 27 – 29, 2011 (Tuesday - Thursday)
Schedule

Divide into groups to visit sponsored schools and students. Back to Kunming on Tuesday
afternoon.
Dec 30 – 31, 2011 (Friday - Saturday)
Visit migrant workers’ families on Wednesday morning. Travel to local sightseeing. Back to
HK on Friday afternoon.
