POST SCREEN REQUIREMENTS (FOR SPI BIOS POST SCREEN RELATED POINTS CAN BE IGNORED) Full installed memory should be seen atleast either at POST screen or CMOS screen. If there is any limitation due to any pre-allocated memory, proper justification to be provided by supplier. For Intel CPU, CPU ID & its corresponding microcode should get sensed in the POST screen or at least inside the CMOS screen. (There must be a warning if the current CPU microcode is not loaded during boot-up). SATA hard disk should get sensed in the POST and BIOS as “SATA Channel” only. It should not get sensed as ‘IDE Channel’. BIOS default setting for Device Switch Status Table (Ignore if Device not available in Notebook)–Note: The device should be able to work after Enabling.
