Firmware HW Design Engineer

Job Objective:
Development on firmware/BIOS for Intel platforms.
Responsibilities:
- develop, and debug BIOS (System Software) or UEFI Firmware for platforms that use Intel CPU,
Intel chipset.
- will need to interact with internal organizations, BIOS vendors, and customers.
- Comfortable working with PC hardware and platform issues
- Must have strong system debugging skills.
- Test case development and maintenance under instruction of experienced engineer
- Run test case and provide relate report for project
- Complete the related document for the job.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
.Embed system base SW design experience with about 2+ years experience
. Embedded programming ability, strong C programming experience, and C++ preferred.
·Strong ability to fix C/C++ programming bugs.
·Proficient Assembly and C language advanced programming skills
·Deep understanding on IA-32, IA-64 Architecture
·Deep understanding on task management, interrupt handling, memory management
·Capability of reading hardware design specifications and component datasheets
·Strong in legacy BIOS, EFI/UEFI, Firmware development
·Understanding of TCP/IP protocol, IEEE 802.3 protocol
·Knowledge of Local/PCI bus controller, Ethernet MAC/PHY and other mainstream Bus
Architectures/Protocols such as USB, DMA, UTOPIA, I2C, SPI, etc.
·Experience in supporting Board, FPGA & SW engineers on design integration.
·Team working and communication skills are essential.
·Fluent oral communications in both Chinese and English
·Solid English written skills on design documentation and report
·Good team player and cooperation ability
