Job Posting: Senior Director, Human Resources (Toronto) CSI Global Education Inc. is looking for a Senior Director, Human Resources to join our team of talented professionals. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Senior Director is responsible for providing leadership, direction and expertise on human resource management policy and practices. The position also oversees the facilities management function. Accountabilities: Develop organizational and strategic capabilities, especially in the area of high performance, people management and leadership skills Support the business with advice and counsel to ensure the integration of the HR strategy with the business strategy Drive and champion change management, process improvements and high performance including calibrating performance standards Align people management and compensation practices (job evaluation, salary administration, compensation design) with business strategy Ensure the right people are in the right jobs (recruiting policies and practices) and the talent pipeline is robust Ensure effective employee communication via employee meetings, newsletters, etc. Plan and lead the HR due diligence and integration work for new acquisitions including change management, talent reviews, alignment of Mission, Vision and Values Ensure effective management of Human Resources and Facilities functions Qualifications: University degree and CHRP (or equivalent) designation with formal training in Human Resources Management, Leadership and Organizational Development, Change Management and Employment Law 10+ years practical experience, preferentially as a broad generalist, is required in relevant roles: managing a team of HR professionals managing major HR functions, e.g., recruiting, compensation, pension & benefits, policy development, employee relations, employee communications experience in job design and evaluation, organizational design, large-scale change initiatives, leadership and management development, performance management experience in assessing and integrating corporate acquisitions (M&A) developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives including culture change, performance management systems, leadership development Personal leadership qualities: Strategic and pragmatic thinker Well-developed influencing and collaboration skills Exceptional communication skills; bilingual in French would be an asset Excellent decision-making and analytical skills Entrepreneurial mindset with proven track record in helping companies grow Commitment to ongoing professional development Decisive, confident and resilient and able to deal with ambiguity Presentation and facilitation skills Experience in coaching senior leaders If this sounds like you, please let us know more about you.
