Mark Twain Lake - 4 day cabin stay Tom and Linda McCrackin have graciously donated a 4-day stay in their cabin at Florida, Missouri between the North and South Forks of the Salt River which form Mark Twain Lake. Time period is a mutually agreeable date with Tom and Linda who use the cabin often. It is a 100-year old cabin with a full bath, 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6. Stove, microwave and refrigerator/freezer are in the kitchen. A circle drive allows easy access for boat trailers. Mark Twain’s home and boat ramp to the lake on Route U are less than 1 mile away. 4. “Evening Sprig” - Peter Mathios Peter Mathios marks his second time in the Ducks Unlimited National Art Package as the 2009 International Artist of the Year. Shows a group of Pintails dropping in and committing as the sun goes down in the Suisun Marsh of Northern California. Printed pencil remarque in the margin. 5. 1800s style Waterfowlers Trunk - Don Brown Don Brown a consistent decoy contributor to Missouri DU has again generously donated this “Waterfowlers Trunk” Before the advent of waterproof bags and duffels, the Duck Hunter needed a wooden box to keep his lunch dry and to carry the drinks, extra shells, gear, and shotgun. After getting to the blind, the box provided a seat. Handmade from white pine with an original mallard drake engraved and hand painted on the front. A rugged heavy duty field box with a rustic look, equipped with a lift-out tray, padded gun rack, and four extra shell holes in the side handles. Hand finished with natural stain and wax. Handmade in Don’s shop from his original design. Thanks Don! 6. Missouri Duck Hunt – 2 day, 2 person hunt DeClue's Riverbottom Farm is donating a 2 Person 2 Day waterfowl hunt. Meals and Lodging ARE INCLUDED. This farm is located 90 miles north of St. Louis. You will be hunting in pit blinds and layout blinds on a 500 acre private duck lake, flooded with japanese millet, smartweed, buckwheat and some corn. It is located between Mark Twain Lake, Thomas Hill and Long Branch. Hunt must be used by 12-31-2009.Guide tips not included. 7. Oak Wine Barrell Rack – Bud Doane There's only one. Canvasback Pair - Jeff Cockerham Patterned after decoys by Paul Dobrowski of Monmouth County New Jersey. Paul’s dissatisfaction with equipment and decoys available at the time was instrumental in developing his interest in fashioning his own. He is particularly adept at carving decoys for hunting, but as evidenced by his numerous ‘best of show’ awards, he is an excellent decorative carver as well. 14.
