Timetable: Three hours of lecture each week and 5 compulsory computer labs. The lab schedule is below. NOTE: Material covered in class may not always be the same as that in the textbook. Problems to be done by hand will be assigned in class from the course package. Due dates will also be announced in class. Tests: There will be one midterm test, of one and a half hours duration which will be given outside of class time on Friday, November 1, 2002 from 5:15 – 6:45 pm. Tutorial Centre: The tutorial centre is located in 4385 HP and opens on September 23. Teaching assistants will be on duty from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday. The hours during which there will be assistants who can help with statistics will be announced in class as soon as they are known. Paul Menton Centre: Students with disabilities requiring accomodations are encouraged to contact a coordinator at the Paul Menton Centre to complete the necessary letters of accomodation. After registering with the Centre, make an appointment with me to come and discuss your needs at least two weeks prior to the midterm.
