WILDWOOD
JOB DESCRIPTION
Wildwood
Wildwood Trust is a unique British charitable venture to secure, for the future, Britain’s
largest collection of native wildlife. The Wildwood Centre has existed since 1998 as a
commercial body building up its unique mix of wildlife conservation and
communication skills. Because the Wildwood Centre has at its core a new and unique
charitable objective it became a Charity in 2002 and now works solely for wildlife
conservation and public education.
Wildwood has 3 unique skills which we will develop over the coming years.

The careful husbandry of Wildwood’s collection of British native, naturalised
and once native wildlife.

The public education of our relationship with wildlife, its historical context and
its future conservation.

Wildlife husbandry skills and knowledge to pioneer conservation projects that
need such skills to produce balanced, semi natural ecological systems.
Leading ecologists believe this to be key to the long term survival of our
natural heritage.
Marketing & Promotions Officer
The Marketing & Promotions Officer’s role will be to administer the Trust’s marketing,
promotions, and outside membership recruitment. This is an exciting position, which
will help develop a range of new projects to increase visitor numbers and membership
recruitment. In turn, this will enhance Wildwood Trust’s mission to protect wildlife
across the UK and enable projects that allow people to play a role in wildlife
conservation.
We are looking for someone with exceptional enthusiasm, excellent written English
skills and the ability to inspire people about the Wildwood Woodland Discovery Park.
