around the facilities available to you.
Wildwood was opened in 1992 and designed by world renowned architects Hawtree. At 6655 yards,
par 72, with USGA specification bent grass tees and greens and numerous water hazards, this superb
parkland course presents a challenge for golfers of every standard.
The course consists of three separate loops of 9 holes each, allowing you to mix and match the loops
you play which helps to keep your game fresh and interesting. In addition to this we have a 9 hole par
3 course which offers a great warm up before hitting the main course, a driving range and an indoor
teaching academy. We have regular stableford and medal competitions, matches and fun
competitions; we also have roll-ups on Wednesday’s, Saturdays and Sundays. Our Vets, juniors and
Ladies sections are all very welcome, in addition to these; we have a great social side to the club.
Lessons are available from our in house golf professionals, ranging from Clive Tucker, European Tour
Pro & Golf Guru to the likes of David Howell and Graeme McDowell, to Phil Harrison, Seniors Tour Pro
and Director of Wildwood, and Simon Mantell, Head Professional at Wildwood who specialises in
Young Masters Golf and Ladies Coaching.
The Members Spike bar is a beautiful old Green Oak Sussex barn, whilst our contemporary function
room offers stunning views across the course to the North Downs. We pride ourselves on our superb
food, cooked by our in-house team of chef’s, and our attention to detail and service.
There is currently no joining fee and your membership runs for one year from the date of inception.
You can choose between our standard Membership or our Platinum Membership which for a small
extra cost gives you great savings on Buggy rates, free range balls throughout your membership and
Complimentary Par 3 rates for you and three guests (limited to 9 holes per day). For those of you who
are just beginning our Academy Membership is ideal or you can join our Par 3/Gym Membership
category which allows you to keep fit and healthy both indoors and out and remember, you do not
need to hold a current handicap certificate.
