SYLLABUS OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT Operations Management 0816521280 charly@ciputra.ac.id Friday: 14.10 – 16.40 R. 406 Course Description : Operations Management is a subject that decribes a set of activities that create goods and services through a transformatio from input into output according to consumer needs Instructional Purps. : After mastering this course, students are able to explain how the activity and management to create goods and services to fulfiil consumer need. Class Activity Class activity of this course consist of lecturing, question and aswer, discussion, quiz and exam (mid and final). Discussion is aimed to open and broaden students point of view and receiving ideas from other students. Question and answer is aimed to know wheter student have prepare the material before enter the class and to ask specific topic that need to be analized deeper. Quisz is amied to test how far student understand material given and also basic consideration to give final score. Outside class activity, student are aglible to do assignment and homework. Students’ Task 1. Students are required to read the related material prior to the class, thus can actively join the discussion during the class 2. Students are obligated to finish and submit the task given, individual and group on the agreed time. 3. Maximum tolerable lateness = 15 minutes. 2. Minimum class attendance = 75%. 3. Students are expected to actively join the class. 4. Students are not allowed to sign the class attendance for their class mates. Lecturer has the right to cancel both parties’ attendance.
