President's Report
- Looking to start using the Square payment system at events. They'll be charged 2.75% for every
transaction, but hopefully it will encourage more parents to make purchases at movie nights and
family fun night.
- Movie night was a success
- Looking for new officers because all the current officers have reached their term limit. Need an
auditor now because Widodo is still filling in the role even though his children are no longer at
Vinci.
- 5th grade parents and teachers are planning fundraisers to raise the $7,000 needed to go to
science camp. There will be a Pasta/Craft Night on December 20th. Does anyone have a Santa
costume that we can borrow?
Treasurer's Report
- There was over $15,000 in orders from the Encore catalog sale fundraiser. The PTA will be
getting 50% of that.
- The amount from the Panda Express fundraiser is still pending
- The last Box Tops contest brought in about $595
- Taxes were filed on time this year
Spirit Wear
- Preorders are not ready yet.
- The cost of some items have gone up this year, so the Spirit Wear committee is still working out
the contract with the printing company.
David Cohen will be at the December 9th PTA meeting to talk about the new bond measure that
will be on the ballot next June. There'll be time for questions and answers after the meeting.
