Blackboard Integration with Facebook
As a very large percentage of students are spending time on Facebook, please note
that Blackboard has an application available to keep you connected to your NCC
online and hybrid courses. Consider this application a way to help you bridge your
social and academic lives, as well as to leverage those social interactions that are
already occurring for social learning.
The Blackboard application on Facebook delivers course announcements, basic
information, and updates through this social network in a convenient way to help
you stay focused on academics as well as leverage Facebook's social network
capabilities for collaboration and social learning.
The Blackboard Learn for the Facebook Platform application is available through the
Facebook® Application Directory. When you set up your account and it asks you to
add an institution, you will need the URL for Nash’s Blackboard system. Use this
URL http://nashcc.blackboard.com You will then be prompted to type in your
blackboard Username and Password. The application will then sync your
Blackboard and Facebook accounts for any updates.
