Charitable Organisation: The Inskip League of Friendship for Disabled People. Purpose
of Collection: To raise funds to enable the Members of the Inskip League to be taken on a
day out to Southport in the Summer. Salford City Council has previously granted permits to
this organisation.
The Inskip League of Friendship for Disabled People provides a club on a weekly basis
where disabled people can go to socialise, play games, go for outings etc.

Charitable Organisation: Little Sisters of the Poor. Purpose of Collection: To help
disadvantaged people. Salford City Council has previously granted permits to this
organisation.
The Little Sisters of the Poor is a holy order of Catholic Nuns who require funds to maintain a
home for the elderly.

Charitable Organisation: Child Advocacy International. Purpose of Collection: To
provide medical care to children both in this country and abroad. This organisation has not
previously applied for a collection permit, but have supplied supporting evidence and
literature and are considered a bona fide organisation.
The Child Advocacy Agency was founded in 1995 by leading medical specialists to improve
healthcare for children worldwide. Their aim is to reduce unnecessary pain, fear and
suffering for sick children everywhere. In support of their application they provided copies of
permits granted by other local authorities, a newsletter and an excerpt from financial
statements. They are also a Registered Charity.

Mr. Newsham is a fundraiser for local branches of well-known charities. He has been
