Prince Sultan University Physical Education, Health & Recreation Department 2013 - 2014 SYLLABUS Course : PE 119 Title : Beginner Volleyball Instructor : Mr. Osama abo khaizaran Objectives : The students are expected to: 1) demonstrate with proficiency basic volleyball technique, such as serve, pass, set, attack, block and defense skills; 2) correctly apply the volleyball technique during the regular game situation; 3) properly apply the Volleyball rules and officiate during class practice games and competitions; 4) correctly identify the main offensive and defensive systems used in Volleyball. As a university policy excuse letter for absence is no longer honored. The student shall be responsible for any topic or activity that was covered during his absence. Regardless of student’s grade in the class work a student who misses 10 classes will be automatically receive a Failing Grade (“F”).The attendance shall be taken during the first 5 minutes of the class. Any student who comes to class after 5 minutes shall be marked absent.
