The 9th grade has three End of Course Tests: Math I (May 3, 2012), Biology (April 24, 2012), and 9th Grade Literature and Composition (April 30, 2012). Mrs. Sykes is the 9th Grade Team Lead. Sophomore Parent Night is September 22, 2011. First semester Math II students take the EOCT on December 6, 2011. Ms. Nunn is the 10th Grade Team Lead. Parents can get GHSGT information as well as transcript evaluations. MANDATORY Writing Workshops on Saturdays in September (9/10, 9/17, 9/24) to prepare for the Georgia High School Graduation Writing Test that is administered September 27, 2011. Gilley, Special Education/Mathematics. - Advanced Placement Courses- We are offering a host of Advanced Placement (AP) courses this year: AP US History, AP World History, AP Biology and AP Chemistry. - National Hispanic Heritage Month- We will be celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month September 15October 15, 2011. - Bulldog Football- We have a new head football coach, Coach Rodney Hackney and BFI boasts the most football players in all the schools. We play Stone Mountain on September 9, Riverwood on September 23, North Springs on October 7, and homecoming at the Georgia Dome against North Atlanta on October 15. Druid Hills and St. Pius games are played on October 22 and 28.
