356-357 actividades 12 through 14. We read and discussed the rest of the article on p. 18 “Alemania llora
por Knut).
****Homework: Do P.S. 7A-5 through 7A-7. Read and study vocabulary 7B p. 374-376 and create
definitions for at least 25 of the words. Go to www.phschool.com web code jdd 0704 and do the
exercise. Go to www.studyspanish.com grammar lessons 91 & 92 (informal commands – tú and
irregular commands –tú). Do the mini test for both, submit and record. (20 points)

through 7A-4). We reivewed p. 366 and wkbk p. 132 actividad 10. We scanned the articles in the
Authentik magazine and read one of them.

chapter 7A. We corrected the little quiz that we took yesterday on chapter 7A vocabulary and reviewed
how to form affirmative tú commands. We reviewed the definitons that we created for chapter 7A
vocabulary, and p. 350-354 actividades 3, 4, 6. 10.

Write out in your notebook in complete sentences p. 362 actividad 20. Prepare out loud p. 354 actividades

We received pases, billetes and the packet of first day information (it’s all in the worksheets section of this
website). We discussed the class expectations and structure. A field trip for Nov 8th will take place at the
Museum of Science and Industry – we will see a professional performance of Latin American dances and
then go for lunch. Cost will be approximately $30 – start saving and keep up your grades! Everyone
should attend! We received an edition of Authentik magazine.
****Homework: Complete the information/schedule sheet, the contract and billetes. Continue practicing
chapter 7A vocabulary. Prepare out loud p. 353-354 actividades 7 & 8. Read the “Fondo cultural” sections
in chapter 7A and be prepared to discuss the questions. Also, make a list of the different foods mentioned,
where they’re from, and something about each one.
