Realidades 3 – Para empezar Presentación oral y escrita Para el 19 - 21 de agosto Presentational written activity: (19 de agosto) You will use the Tarea activity in your text on p.15 to complete this assignment. You will work in your center group to create a “Web page” according to the instructions in your text. You must include information on 5 of the 8 temas listed. You are expected to have a minimum of 5 sentences per tema with an illustration for each tema. Remember to develop your ideas and organize them, using rich vocabulary, some idiomatic expressions, and a variety of cohesive devices to improve your final product. Your writing grade will be based on: 80% the SWELL holistic grading rubric 10% the quality of the visual 10% participation during collaborative work time Presentational speaking activity: (21 de agosto) You are to do a presentational speaking activity. Choose one of the topics below. If you would like to speak on another topic, see the teacher for prior approval. You may work individually or in pairs. Each person will speak in Spanish for a minimum of 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. You will need to include at least one visual – photograph, illustration, object, clip art, etc. to enhance your presentation. You may not use any written notes; however, you may use as many illustrations as you wish to help you as you speak. Any powerpoint presentations must be MS 2003 compatible. Remember to develop your ideas, use a variety of sentences (include past tense) and cohesive devices with a rich use of vocabulary.
