INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CHEMICAL: Phenacetin, introduced in 1887, was widely used until the third quarter of the twentieth century as a remedy for fever and was used as an analgesic painkiller. Its analgesic(painkiller) affects works on the sensory tracts of the spinal cord.
