EE76 MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS for Australian Paramedics Association (NSW) Rule 3 - Constitution The Association shall consist of an unlimited number of persons who are employed as or who perform the duties of: 3.1 Ordinary Membership (a) Any person who is, or was, employed on a permanent fulltime or permanent part-time basis as a Paramedic of the Ambulance Service of New South Wales may apply for ordinary membership of APA (NSW). (b) Any person who is employed on a permanent basis as an office holder of APA (NSW) or as an employee of APA (NSW) may apply for ordinary membership of APA (NSW). (c) Any person who is employed by the Ambulance Service of New South Wales as a paramedic, patient transport officer or in a paramedic support position may apply for ordinary membership of APA (NSW). 3.2 Casual Membership (a) Any person who is employed by the Ambulance Service of New South Wales on a casual basis as a paramedic, patient transport officer or a paramedic support position may apply for casual membership of APA (NSW). (b) (i) Any person who is employed on a casual basis as a Paramedic of the Ambulance Service of New South Wales may apply for casual membership of APA (NSW). (ii) Any person who is employed on a casual basis by APA (NSW) may apply for casual membership of APA (NSW). 3.3 Honorary Membership (a) Any person who was previously employed as an Officer of the Ambulance Service of New South Wales may be nominated for honorary membership of the APA (NSW). (b) Any person deemed by APA (NSW) members to be beneficial to the Association may be nominated for honorary membership of the APA (NSW). Honorary membership applications are to be nominated by a member at the next applicable General Meeting.
