Originally inspired by true events, this taut, tense thriller erupts when two Marines are accused of the hazing death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. This hard-hitting, suspenseful story puts the Marine code of honor on trial when two military lawyers uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients. Aaron Sorkin (Moneyball, The Social Network, The West Wing) wrote the captivating courtroom drama, which ran for nearly 500 performances on Broadway in 1989. Sorkin later adapted his work into an Oscar-nominated film in1992 directed by Rob Reiner and starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore. This production of A Few Good Men is being directed by Brian Remo and produced by Rebecca Zaccagnino and Laurie Devino. It features Carmen Balentine, Kristin Barber, Timothy Cary, Dave Duncan, Paul Fiumano, David Harris, Bill King, Bobby Marusiefski, Dave Murray, Ross Pohling, Patrick Schladebeck, Michael Sockol, David Sussman and James Walsh. A Few Good Men will open on Friday, July 25 and play for eight performances at the following dates and times: Friday, July 25 at 8pm Saturday, July 26 at 8pm Sunday, July 27 at 2pm Friday, August 1 at 8pm Saturday, August 2 at 8pm Sunday, August 3 at 2pm Friday, August 8 at 8pm Saturday, August 9 at 8pm All performances are at the Duncan Smith Theater, 36 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, New Jersey in front of the Holmdel High School.
