Minutes of the 8th Meeting

As mentioned last time, only two companies were approached.
2.
One of the company said the contact person was on leave, so can't approach.
3.
The other one said need time for him to find if their company sell those products or not.
Jacky :
1.
One of the companies reply that they can help us to order from overseas, the price is around
$15000.

Mok Hang :
1.
Found Chung, he suggested us to buy chargers then follow the battery's profile and then connect the
circuit to charge up the battery.
2.
It is difficult to modify the charger (IC), purchased outside, directly ourselves, and in turn, difficult
to make up the circuit.

It is suggested to design battery circuit by how to connect up the six chargers.
Follow up work :
A.
Find the price and size for programmable, non-programmable, with profile and without profile chargers
for Lead Acid battery.
B.
Find out the safety precautions when charging.
C.
Find the difference between Nickel Metal Hydride and Lead Acid battery.
D.
Design the car by adding a relay to switch the twelve chargers from series to parallel when charging.
E.
Mok Hang will ask Tsui about the details for making the chargers.
F.
Find out the circuit for both NiMH and Pb Acid battery.
G.
