Study the "World Today Map" (The red arrows indicate the direction of plate movement) and the “Pangaea/Panthalassa Map". 2. Cut the two "World Cut Up" maps on the “bold” lines. 3. Place and paste the continents at the position that they were located 250 million years ago in the great ocean called Panthalassa. 4. Make a prediction of what the world will look like in 100 million years. Use the "World Map Today" in making your predictions. 5. Place the remaining continent cutouts and paste them onto the other piece of blue construction paper. 6. Predict where new mountains will form and where new volcanoes will erupt by marking them on your prediction maps using markers. 7. Write in the back side of the blue paper what your reasons were for placing the continents where you did.
