Tel Aviv - Invest in Israel

Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv-Yafo is the business, financial and commercial center of the State of Israel and a
huge employment and production center. It is home to most of the country's business
institutions including the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, most of the country's international banks,
venture capital funds, and countless international law offices and consulting companies.
As the business and financial center of a country that has the highest density of tech startups in the world, it attracts more venture capital dollars per-capita than any other country,
and is amongst the countries with the greatest number of companies listed on the NASDAQ
– it is no wonder that Tel Aviv was recently ranked as the 5th best place in the
world to establish a start-up.
Tel Aviv's innovation ecosystem is composed of leading hi-tech companies and multinational
R&D centers, world class talent, leading programmers and engineers, and an experienced
community of veteran entrepreneurs and investors.
The focal point of Tel Aviv's web and new media scene is the picturesque Rothschild
Boulevard. Just minutes from the beach and lined with trendy cafes and top notch
restaurants, the boulevard and surrounding area boasts a range of start-up
incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces, and hundreds of startups
specializing in e-security, e-social and e-commerce.
The secret to Tel Aviv-Yafo lies not only in its warm and supportive community, but also in its
carefree and liberal approach, the kilometers of white sand beaches, the leading cultural
institutions, the diverse range of restaurants and the vibrant nightlife which relaxes, excites,
provokes and inspires. That's the special vibe which allows for the necessary outside- thebox approach and creative spirit.
The beach city of Tel Aviv enjoys sunny weather almost all year round. The hot days give way
to warm Mediterranean evenings which pull the city outside to fill the countless cafes and
bars which stay open and buzzing seven days a week until the early hours. In Tel Aviv there
are no last calls, only last customers.
The city of Tel Aviv-Yafo is leading an initiative to leverage its unrivaled innovative
ecosystem and unique vibrant atmosphere in order to attract foreign start-ups. The city's
plan is focused on cultivating and deepening the international nature of its local ecosphere
thereby ensuring that the city will become the most attractive place in the world for
technology initiatives to establish their activities.
