Year 7 Textiles – Introduction module: Beanie hat and pencil case 2014/15
To achieve a L4 folder work must include research & design work which is evaluated. In practical work you must know about the materials you
use, demonstrate some accuracy when working with them & identify problems which need to be solved.
In addition, to achieve a L5 produce folder work must include design criteria & labelled & developed design ideas & testing of the products.
Practical needs to show precision & you should be able to solve technical problems as they arise.
A completed hat with decoration & pencil case with zip fastening are needed at all levels. You must have a photograph of your finished
products in your folder.

Fuse the appliqué pattern onto the front

Fold 1.5cm under on one long side of
