(Exercises may be continued for extended hours if required – remaining editing and the final dump out on DVD + DVCAM/BETA as the case may be. ) Day – 5 # Activities: Presentation by Group 1 (25 – 30 Minutes including 5 Minutes Interaction) Presentation by Group 2 (25 – 30 Minutes including 5 Minutes Interaction) Presentation By Group 3 (25 – 30 Minutes including 5 Minutes Interaction) Presentation By Group 4 (25 – 30 Minutes including 5 Minutes Interaction) (1000 – 1600 Hrs.) including the changeover period for the Group presenting. The presentations are to be made using the actual network and also the interaction using the co-located SIT and other available SITs if any. # Activities: Analysis of 4 Groups’ presentations Feedback and closing (1600 – 1700 Hrs.) Important Note: System requirement for Presentations and Demonstrations by Resource Persons from DECU: PC for Presentation (with capability to handle word, power point, flash, movie files) with LCD projector for the participants viewing. Stand alone DVD player to be used by Resource Persons from DECU Edusat Network availability having one teaching end and one classroom collocated at the venue of the training - Both with LCD projection separately. Proper Audio projection through public address system and Audio mixer with the inputs like Resource Persons voice, DVD audio, Computer audio from Presentation computer or Teaching end computer and collocated classroom end computer. Page 2 of 3 System requirement for the group exercise, rehearsals and final presentations: 4 additional PCs with proper software like MS Power Point, Macromedia Flash at separate rooms for rehearsals. – For day 3,day 4 and 5. Shooting equipment (2 Sets): Camera with VCR or Camcorder (Beta of DVCAM), Tripod, External Microphone, Monitor, Porta kit light with manpower like Cameraman, Lighting assistant and a helper – For day 3, 4 (Note: 2 set of equipment and 2 set of manpower for 2 days for the shooting purpose) If you do not have at your place, in that case you need to hire accordingly. Editing Equipment (2 Set of Non-linear Editing): Non-linear editing simple type required capturing the shoot material by various groups on NLE setup, edit as required with multilayer and text superimposed, final dump out of clippings generated on DVCAM and/or DVD. These clippings would be finally used by the resource persons (Participants) during their presentation on the actual network of Edusat. Required for day 3 (Extended hours), 4 (late night) and 5 (Morning in emergency – may be only dump out could be required) (Note: 2 set of Non-linear Editing setups with manpower like efficient Editors for 3 days for the editing purpose) If you do not have at your place, in that case you need to hire accordingly. Teaching end PC (with capability to handle word & power point with desired fonts with transitions also flash, movie files and other .exe files). The computer has to have enough space to store large data and having faster speed to access the data. The data has to transmit on Edusat network on which the content delivery will be made. Classroom end PC to receive the content through Edusat Network and also to allow participants to ask questions through Voice, Text or Live mode as the network possibilities. Page 3 of 3
