Experiences:
I started my assignment with National Societe Generale Bank NSGB in Feb, 1992 till
March 2007. In the area of transfers and collection of Checks for 2 years, then moved to
the Letters of credit department for one year, then promoted in different positions in
Trade Finance and Financial institution department.
-Starting 21/03/2007 moved to Arab banking corporation (ABC Bank) to start my
assignment as Head of Financial Institution and Trade Finance group.
-Starting 2014, I started my new assignment as Director Middle East and Africa at
Matrex Capital Investment Group specialized in factoring, forfeiting and FX hedging.
Job Responsibilities
 ABC responsibilities
 Market and attract new business regarding forfeiting, Risk Sharing, Loans
Syndications and Trade Finance focusing on non-corporate clients.
 Establish and maintain positive customer relationship by paying regular
visits to customers to advise them on different banking matters and follow
up their financial situation.
 Plan and coordinate the Division’s Marketing Strategy and lending activities
by collecting/analyzing marketing information to identify new prospects.
 Review and Conduct Financial analysis and evaluation of different banks in
order to establish limits to satisfy our bank's customers’ needs / other
divisions
 Support our bank's departments and branches by responding to their
inquiries, solving their problems with correspondent banks and preparing
requested reports.
 Execute yearly Country Portfolio Review by analyzing and scoring all
Egyptian banks

 Review the credit line applications for Egyptian banks prepared by different
branches and subsidiaries of ABC Group to provide country manager’s
opinion supported by adequate financial analysis on credit application for
business / potential business
 Develop training needs of subordinate staff to ensure accuracy of work flow
 National Societe Generale Bank responsibilities :
 Develop and maintain relationships with banks, Bi-lateral & multilateral
organizations to ensure handling incoming and outgoing business
smoothly. Promote the business and explore the market trends and business
opportunities according to the bank policy
 Implement internal control procedures and manage the assignment of work
among staff
 Direct and supervise a team in charge of correspondent banking and trade
finance as follows :
1- Monitor relationships and exposures of trade finance , FX , Money
market within credit policy guideline.
2- Balance incoming and outgoing products flow and rebate of L/Cs ,L/Gs
and Nostro and Vostro accounts.
3- Handle clearing services with each banking group as well as relevant
business agreements , offers, terms and conditions and visits
4- Maintain relationships with SG network , banks , local managements and
branches , exchange business opportunities with them, arrange missions
and solve problems
5- Receive and settle relevant inquiries of the central bank of Egypt
6- Manage , monitor and promote trade finance traditional products of L/Cs
, L/Gs , Documentary Collections , Syndication and forfeiting
7- Handle the free Banking Market Foreign currencies position
8- Monitor Local and regional market activities and trends through
attending events and exchanging information to keep formalizing and
promoting relevant traditional products as well as structured products
9- Provide technical assistants for branches and clients
