Sr. Supply Chain Manager with direct responsibility for over $2 billion in annual spend. Managed supply of
wireless devices for national retail, authorized dealer networks, and emerging markets.
Developed system that allowed my team to effectively supply millions of mobile phones, wearables, and
other wireless devices into over 7,000 locations throughout N. America.

Responsible for global materials management strategy and execution, supplier relationship management,
sales & operations planning (S&OP), manufacturing planning & master scheduling, inventory optimization,
warehousing and logistics. Procurement spend exceeded $125 million for steel forgings, castings,
fabrications, outside machining, MRO items, etc.





Developed and implemented new S&OP process that provided visibility into overall supply/demand
requirements.
Introduced significant systems/process improvements in master scheduling process that provided
improved production/assembly scheduling and material flow.
Negotiated and implemented VMI program, improving inventory turns and optimizing record flow of
materials without increasing roofline or warehouse space.
Worked with global supply base to ensure adequate supply of scarce raw materials during a period of
dramatic acceleration in demand for high-pressure hydraulic pumps supporting O&G fracturing in various
shale plays.
Implemented improved quality review and NCR process, ensuring that nonconforming materials/products
were reviewed and processed within 24 hours of receipt. Further ensured that the Corrective Action /
Preventive Action process was executed properly and that files were completed and closed out as
quickly as possible.

Self-employed supply chain consultant providing contract process improvement services in the areas of
Strategic Sourcing and Sales & Operations Planning.
Key project involved evaluation of purchasing processes and systems for a Native American tribe that had
grown from 16 employees and virtually no revenue to 12,000 employees and over $10 billion in revenue over
an eight-year period. Deliverables included a concise explanation of requirements for the government and
commercial entities, along with recommendations for systems, services, etc. that would be required to meet
the current and future needs of the tribe.

Managed supply chain function, including Procurement, Methods (Process) Planning, Manufacturing
Planning, Contract Manufacturing, Master Production Scheduling and Assembly Scheduling. SME for
multiple company-wide process improvement projects.

Improved on-time delivery of complex engineered-to-order products from annualized average of 68% to
annualized average of 92% in one year through creative management of cross-functional team utilizing
SCM APO, an advanced planning and scheduling system. OTD during the quarter preceding my
departure was 98.8%.
Developed and implemented lean process improvements that reduced WIP and FG inventories by 59%
and 52% respectively while producing upward trend in on-time delivery and maintaining a consistent
volume of shipments.
Worked closely with cross-functional team (manufacturing engineering, shop foremen, machinists, and
master schedulers) to design a lean / pull system that optimized material flow, inventory, and absorption,
all of which were primary KPIs assigned to the operation.
Implemented a process tracking system that managed activities within the planning group and
concurrent engineering, resulting in an 83% reduction of front-end cycle time for manufacturing planning
process.

Created online marketing system for high-end builder that served as the platform for exponential growth

planning systems. In this consultative sales position I led a team of industry consultants, business
consultants and solution demo consultants that sold, designed and implemented supply chain optimization
solution for global manufacturer of medical implant devices, expected to result in 25% improvement in cycle
times and 40% improvement in on-time delivery through improved statistical demand planning and
manufacturing execution.
