1. What is a muster formation?
(A) It is a company formation to call roll or determine accountability of personnel.
2. What are the two rest movement commands given during a march?
(A) "At Ease March," and "Route Step March".
3. What are the four rests executed from the halt position?
(A) Parade Rest, At Ease, Stand at Ease, and Rest.
4. At route step march, what command brings you back to attention?
(A) Quick Time March.
5. Does the U.S. flag ever dip when passing in review?
(A) No.
6. What is the length in inches of an arm swing when marching?
(A) Nine to the front and six to the rear.

COLOR GUARD QUESTIONS
1. How long is the U.S. flag flown at half staff when a president or former president dies?
(A) 30 days.
2. How is a worn out U.S. flag disposed?
(A) It is burned and buried.
3. May a female soldier be used in a color guard?
(A) Yes.
4. When can the U.S. flag be flown upside down?
(A) In times of emergency.
5. What does retreat mean?
(A) It signals the retirement of the colors from the day's activities.
6. How is the U.S. flag hoisted and lowered to and from half staff?
(A) It is hoisted to full staff for an instant then lowered to half staff. It is lowered in the same
manner.
7. What should be showing after properly folding a flag at a funeral?
(A) The Blue union and stars. (13 stars to be exact).
8. How many steps will should an individual hold a salute after a color guard passes?
(A) Six.
9. At what interval does a color guard march?
(A) Close interval.
