AHS DECA CLUB 2014-2015
DECA is a youth organization associated with Marketing Education. Students who are enrolled or have
previously taken a Business, Marketing, Finance, Hospitality class OR are currently an IB student are
encouraged to join and participate in DECA activities.
DECA offers students an opportunity to become involved with business leaders and to prepare for
careers in various marketing and business areas. Business leaders in the community provide support for
the DECA program in many ways. They serve as speakers in the classroom and at conferences, as
judges at competitive events, and provide financial support for local scholarships. Allen High School
DECA, Texas DECA, and International DECA dues are $25. This includes State and National dues and
an AHS DECA t-shirt.
