There will be Tea & Coffee on arrival and food will be provided before the meeting. Disability Access? All the venues are checked for disability access, a hearing loop will be provided. Please ask if there are any other disability needs that we should be aware of and if any member has a very specific query regarding access please contact your regional office. If anyone requires a disabled parking space please contact Kevin McGrother. Most venues are in a central location with public transport links and therefore no transport is provided. The Circle is within walking distance of many major bus routes and approximately a 10 minute walk from the Train Station and Will the Co-operative be providing any transport to the meetings? Sheffield Interchange. The Circle is just minutes away from the Sheffield Supertram which offers Park and Ride facilities (the City Hall tram stop is a 2 minute walk). Can I attend a Members’ Meeting which is not in the area in which I live? Members can attend a meeting outside of their area as long as that is the only members’ meeting of that type (i.e. HalfYearly) attended that year. The Half-Yearly members’ meetings focus on Co-operative businesses within that postcode area and if a member attends who resides outside that area the results and reports will not necessarily be relevant to the area in which they live and shop. Can I bring my husband/friend along to the meeting? They will not be able to participate in any voting which may take place or ask Questions – in effect they will be attending as an observer. Anyone is welcome to attend but they must be a member of the Co-operative Group and they need to booked on to the event with their full details. If you are not a member you can join over the phone via the membership contact centre prior to booking a place.
