AP MACRO HOMEWORK/ UNIT 1 ASSIGNMENTS / MR.LIPMAN

how quia.com works. Also review the calendar on the quia web site. This quiz will no
longer be operable after Monday, September 8th.
**NOTE: THERE ARE ONLY TWO (2) DAYS ON WHICH YOU MUST ACTUALLY
HAND IN YOUR TYPED HOMEWORK, BUT YOU SHOULD DO THE HOMEWORK
AS INDICATED BY THE SCHEDULE BELOW SO THAT IF YOU HAVE
QUESTIONS OR DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING THE WORK I CAN HELP YOU
WITH IT.**
1. Read Module 1(pages 2-9) and do problems 1,2,3 and 5 on page 32 of the textbook
and pages 3-5 of your workbook. This is due on Tuesday, September 9th. Make
sure to also do your vocabulary book for module 1 and the quia quiz which ends on
Wednesday, September 10th. All problems from the textbook (1,2, 3 and 5) must be
typed out, but this does not include the question, just the answer. You must number
each answer and double space your work in font 12. (Remember that this work will
only be collected on the date indicated below together with the other module
assignments.
2. Read Module 2 (pages 10-15), do the vocabulary terms from the module and the quia
quiz for module 2 which ends on Friday, September 12th.
3. Read Module 3 (pages 16-22 and appendix pages 34-45) and do problems
8-10 on pages 32-33. Your answers must include the diagrams requested
in each problem. THIS IS A COMPLICATED MODULE AND YOU SHOULD
BE PREPARED TO SPEND TIME ON IT TO FULLY UNDERSTAND IT.
Also do pages 7-13 of your activity book, your vocabulary book and the quia quiz
for module 3 which ends on Tuesday, September 16th.
All of your typed submission work for modules 1-3 are due together on Tuesday
September 16th.
4. Read Module 4 (pages 23-29) and do problems 12-14 on page 33. Also do pages
15-22 of your activity book and quia quiz 4 and your vocabulary book. All of these
are due no later than Friday, September 19th.
THERE WILL BE AN EXAM ON MODULES 1-4.
5. Read Module 5(pages 47-58) and do problem 1 on page 96. Also do the vocabulary
terms in your vocabulary book. Then read pages 17-25 in the Anderson book and do
questions 2-5 on page 25 in full sentences. Also take quia quiz 5. All of these are
due on Friday, September 26th.
6. Read Module 6 (pages 59-70), do the vocabulary terms, pages 23-28 in your work book
and quia quiz 6. All of this is due no later than Wednesday, October 1st.
7. Read Module 7 (pages 71-76 ) and do problems 2-6 on pages 96 & 97. Then do pages
29-41 of your workbook and quia quiz 7. All of this is due no later than Tuesday,
October 7th.
8. Read Module 8(pages 77-87) and do problems 13-15 on pages 97-98 and
all of the vocabulary terms. These are due Friday, October 10th.
9. Read Module 9 (pages 88-94) and do problems 18 & 19 on pages 98-99 as well
as quia quiz modules 8 & 9 which are due no later than Tuesday, October 14th.
**THE TYPED PROBLEM ASSIGNMENTS FOR MODUELS 5-9 ARE ALL DUE
TOGETHER ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14TH.
There will be a test on modules 5-9 of Unit 1 following the completion of the work that is
due on October 14th.
