ESL040 Grammar IV – Final Exam Study Guide
Fall 2008
The final exam is cumulative. That means everything that has been studied in this class
will be on the test. You have a week to review. We will not have class on Tuesday,
December 16. Next week is for final exams/projects/presentations only.
The exam will be given on Thursday, December 18, from 12:00 – 1:50 PM.
Notice that the time is different from the regular class meeting time! This time was
not chosen by Diane; it was scheduled by the college (see the final exams schedule at
http://www.estrellamountain.edu/enrollment/finalexam.asp ).
To prepare for the test, the best strategy is to review your previous two tests on
Chapter 10 The Passive, the third class test on Chapter 11 Count/Noncount Nouns &
Articles, the fourth class test on Chapters 12 & 14 Adjective & Noun Clauses, and
handouts about the 4 types of conditional sentences:
